Stumbled on this coffee shop while working down the street. Friendly staff. Delicious cappuccino made exactly how I like it. Inside was spacious and comfortable. Outside seating as well. Great place to grab a coffee and meet up with friends.

I asked for a recommendation on an ice morning drink, and was recommended the Expresso Tonic. It was disgusting. Tastes like puke. Definitely not worth $7.85.

stale environment compared to Merit across the street. the house coffee is on par with Starbucks, either the beans are too roasted or the water was too hot when brewing. the house coffee is not bottomless as Merit has bottomless house coffee.when I ordered at the register with no line behind me and not a busy coffee shop at all, the register guy put my coffee on the opposite end of the central bar and said my coffee was ready over there. Why not just give it to me in my hand?weird stale experience.

Great little spot to pop in for a coffee and chat, read or set-up with a lap top. Very nice & welcoming staff. The space hosts a handful of tables. Two cafe tables outside.

I only work in coffee shops when I have to because it stresses me out. I’m also really picky about where I go. The excellent service from Sasha and Jacob put Medici on my coffee shop workplace list. If management is reading this, give them a raise.

I find it odd that I go almost every single day and I’m allowed to use my discount yet the one time I go in that there’s a worker who i’ve never seen before he suddenly tells me our lamar union discount can’t be applied because y’all “don’t make enough money on food” i’m sorry but making $4 for a single breakfast taco that is less that 3 inches is MORE THAN ENOUGH. No where does our discount say “10% off EXCLUSIVE FOR DRINKS” it says “10% off cafe medici” IN GENERAL WHICH APPLIES TO YALLS FOOD & PASTRIES AS WELL. What would the difference be applying the discounts that cafe medici gives to lamar union resident towards a Tea that is $4 vs a Taco that is $4. The 10% discount saves 50 cents on the taco which is not what I care at all about, it’s the principal, don’t give residents a discount to begin with if your employees are just going to complain about the lack of money being brought into the cafe. Will be avoiding the cafe any time I see that new worker as I’m not going to deal with being unable to use my discount that the plaza provides when NO OTHER ESTABLISHMENT IN THE PLAZA EVER GIVES AN ISSUE.

Been coming here for awhile. Usually it hits the mark with their adorable cups and the little biscuit cookie added touch. And the friendly baristas. Today was a miss. The two gentlemen running the operation this morning simplyare not that. They don't listen to the order and are unfriendly and unwelcoming When I'm paying $5 for a tiny cappuccino I expect it to be done correctly and in the usual manner. Your place doesn't just serve coffee, it provides an experience and a certain ambience. I ordered my drink for "here" as I had already set my book and sweater down on a table. Barista put it in a paper cup...okay an error. I told him it was for here and he proceeded to messily pour it into a ceramic cup. A total mess spilling all over the sides and into the saucer. I grabbed a bunch of napkins to clean it up. I wanted to continue reading my book and ordered a second cappuccino. Same error again. It's obvious I wanted it for in store, I stated it as well when I ordered. He again dumped it into a cup and pushed it at me spilling everywhere. Merit would never dream of treating a customer like this. Probably won't be back. Festina Lente is your motto and it needs to be followed. Such a beautiful quote. The meaning of the phrase is that activities should be performed with a proper balance of urgency and diligence. If tasks are rushed too quickly then mistakes are made and good long-term results are not achieved.

Coffee is very mediocre. Asked for a mocha but there was absolutely no flavor. It was very watery with minimal coffee. Would not recommend this place.

Love the spacing, very clean inside music isn't loud but enough to keep you groovin' on your work day. I finally found my espresso tonic!! Been waiting to find another place in town that can make me fall in love again. Bravo!

Loved the space of this location for Medici Roasting and had a pleasant workspace for about two hours. My cold brew was nicely served and had a great flavor palette. It had a lovely setup and the wifi was so strong it was able to be seamless for about ten patrons with ease. Not sure how to explain it but it felt like I was at a coffee shop in Diagon Alley (for those who are fans of Harry Potter). It had a whimsical feeling to it.If weather permits, you can take advantage of their outdoor patio seating on the sidewalk of this shopping center. Parking isn't really accessible on the street, but there are a few parking garages to utilize. I believe the parking of garage 3 is the closest to the coffee shop and is complimentary.
