First visit to Caroline. Our bartender/server was awesome. We weren't familiar with several of the wines on the menu. The bartender did an awesome job of explaining the wines we had questions about. The wine we ordered was very pleasant. We believe the server/bartender's name was Noah.
The service was great! However, the food was just fair. The burger tasted and looked like a pre-formed frozen patty and had little taste. The enchiladas and goat cheese app were okay, but not worthy of repeating. The drinks were good.
We were visiting Austin for the weekend, and Caroline was a great spot just a few blocks away from our hotel. We made a reservation for 7:00 PM and got seated pretty quickly. We ended up at a table in the bar area, and our server was the bartender, who was amazing! He was very attentive and helpful in our selections. We started out with the burrata appetizer, which was delicious. We also got the Green Goddess salad (which has a very large portion), the Wild Mushroom Bolognese...
