One of my favorite Japanese spots in Austin! I usually opt for pickup rather than dining in, and everything I've tried from the menu has been excellent.
My top favorites are the Mini Chirashi Don, Unagi Sando, and Fruit Sando - all are absolutely delicious.
If you're planning to visit, I recommend going early, as popular items sell out quickly. They also offer an online pre-order option. Highly recommend this place!

Pre-ordered a sample pack and it was ready to go by the stated time. Wonderfully packed and every bite is delicious. They sell out pretty fast when open, barely anything left an hour before close. Small and cozy place to have lunch, just arrive early.

Wow. Just wow. Grabbed a couple sandos from the grabngo for lunch. Bluefin tuna and the mango dessert one with fresh whip. Holy freaking fantastic. I’ve been savoring it the past couple of days. Will think of these sandwiches often. Can’t wait to try the sushi & omakase

I’m tired of this place saying it’s open, just to get there, & it’s NOT!! So annoying! PLEASE UPDATE YOUR HOURS ON MAP!! On Apple Maps it states it’s open but when I looked on Google, it says closed. PLEASE FIX so you don’t waste people’s time!!!
Obsessed with the egg sando here as well as their omakase bowl!! This place is definitely worth the hype

Read a review for this place on r/austinfood so we had to try it. We were blown away!!
Excellent variety of boxes. My boyfriend and I tried the soft shelled crab and fatty tuna sandos. He also got the charsu box which he loved and said everything was very tasty and he loved the ikura. The rice was deliciously seasoned too. I got the negi toro and sake box and the sake was my favorite bites. They did something to the salmon, brushed it with seasoning and put some little garnish on top. Whatever it was made it FIRE and standout from salmon nigiri I’ve had at other restaurants. This place delivered Uchi vibes in a much more casual format.
Also loved the sauces they offered on the side. To me, it seemed like none of it was straight from a jar—which we noticed and appreciated!! Katsu sauce was so goooood and the mustard was creamy even though it just looked like standard grainy Dijon. The homemade soy sauce was a nice touch too. We also noticed all the picked veggies each had a unique pickled tasted so we appreciated the attention to detail there.
We loved it and will be back to try more boxes!

Its a small place, they have all of their items to go so it is a nice quick stop. My first time with sando and it did not disappoint. We opted for the fruit sandos and the fruit used was very fresh!

Delicious sushi and sandwiches!
Their various sushi boxes here are so so good and even though I like to sleep in they’re so worth getting up early and being one of the first to pick up their very well prepared take out sushi boxes. If you don’t go early then you better be prepared to be left with slim pickings cuz they sell out fast!! Their fish is super fresh and delicious every time. I’ve picked up from them multiple times and they’ve been consistently good every time. Love that they give you fresh wasabi, homemade soy sauce, and miso soup with your sushi take out. It’s all packaged so nicely. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Although I’ve never dined in before there are a few tables you could use to do so if you choose to. They’ve got Asian beverages for sale too to help quench your thirst. You won’t be disappointed with the sushi here! Their sandos are also delicious with a lot of variety!

I don’t remember the names of the sushi we got but they were great for takeout!! The egg sando was okay, but the truffle katsu sando was really good!! The strawberry and mango sando was the BEST, the strawberry wasn’t sour but the mango was so enjoyably sweet. 😋 Perfect place to grab a meal for a picnic.

Not sure what the fuss is about. I'm sure this is for someone, but not for me. Did not love the food. Did not love being prompted to tip when the cashier just booped in the price and put what I selected in a bag.
