New digital barista is such a bummer. This is our neighborhood coffee shop, and we’ve been coming here for the great staff, good music, and dog park a few times a week for at least 3 years. The staff still provides amazing service, and knows a lot of customers by name, but the ipad taking your order and payment just dulls the human element that was really strong here. Im sure there was a very real business need that drove the change with the ordering system, but from my end, just miss the human contact before I’m on my own screen for the rest of the day.

I go to this place all the time for acai bowls since they have the best one in town. But as I am writing I just found pieces of plastic inside my acai bowl, I am calling the Manor Rd location, and nobody is picking up.

This location is super cute. The staff are all very sweet and seem to get along so well it feels like you’re at a friend’s house that happens to also be a coffee shop. Iced oat milk latte was fantastic and the croissant was halved and toasted to perfection. Might be my new favorite way to eat a croissant. My only suggestion to the management would be to add something to dampen noise. Sounds bounce off the walls and concrete floor like crazy to the point where I can hear every word of a normal volume conversation from the bar at a back table.
