B. Cooper Barbecue is an easy win for real BBQ, offering some of the best barbecue in Austin. The brisket is perfectly cooked—tender, moist, and full of smoky flavor with a beautiful smoke ring, never dry or tough. The ribs are fantastic, competition-grade, meaty, and cooked right so the meat comes off with a gentle tug. The sausage is super flavorful. Sides are solid, with the beans and an outstanding potato salad. Meals come with onions, jalapeño slices, and pickles. The food is delicious, affordable, and magical, with generous portions at fair prices. The atmosphere is casual, authentic, and no-nonsense, featuring a food trailer with outdoor picnic tables for an outdoor BBQ experience similar to a picnic. The staff is friendly, efficient, and awesome, making the process easy. This is the kind of spot you’d come back to without overthinking it.
