excellent dining in a great atmosphere an awesome service sampled a bunch of tasting plates from the fish tacos to the bone marrow and the oysters even had a wonderful dessert with their homemade ice cream and bananas did I say that the service was awesome top notch five stars all day definitely a place to visit in Austin
Amazing food. Every flavor popped and every bite was as good as the last. The bone marrow tacos were killer, the fish tacos, I could have eaten just those all night and been content. Had the steak for main course and they nailed it with the wood fire. Great service as well. Will be returning for sure.
the food was amazing, service was great... went there for my bday, best place I have been so far, everything was cooked to perfection, amazing flavor. definitely recommend this place.

Comedor offers a delightful dining experience with its great location and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's tequila drinks, particularly the margaritas, are a must-try. The fish tacos and dumplings are standout dishes, and the bone marrow tacos are highly recommended. The food is very tasty and unique, with rich flavors that pair well with each other. The staff, including the owner or chef, provides detailed explanations of each dish, enhancing the experience. The staff is warm and inviting, making guests feel like valued visitors, and the management team goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable night. The space feels superb—sleek, warm, and unmistakably Austin with a gorgeous living wall and open kitchen energy. Every dish felt thoughtful and bold at the same time, with the bone-marrow tacos being legendary for their richness and balance with salsa macha. The Berkshire pork chop melts in your mouth, and the crudo is incredibly fresh with a kick of hot 🔥. The cocktails are creative and delicious, with the Repo Ginger and Oaxaca Marg worth the visit alone. Service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff clearly loves what they do, offering perfect recommendations. The vibe is moody and romantic, with pretty dim lighting, so a phone flashlight may be needed to read the menu or admire the plating in detail. Overall, Comedor is a place where guests can enjoy a special celebration or memorable meal in a cozy yet modern setting, making it highly recommended for an exceptional night out.
