We’re a native Austin, Texas USA family of 5 generations. THIS is one of the best bars in South Austin. Kendall was our bartender and she is awesome! She’s so nice and so welcoming to everyone, even a really obnoxious guy clearly from ‘out of town’ who was really harassing her. Eventually he left, but she didn’t even let it bother her. Awesome people at this bar!Vegetarian options: Pinto beans, Mac and cheese, cabbage, clean Cole slaw, green beans, potato salad, bread, onions, pickles and jalapeños.

I really wanted to like this place but the bartender ruined it. The bartender who was wearing a red designer bra on valentines day had an unwelcoming and overall trashy attitude, that too, over beer & sprite!Later on around 7:45 pm she blasted the music so loud, as if it were a club on 6th street on Saturday.There were only 3 tables occupied there, everyone sitting around and trying to talk to each other over the super loud music.My total bill came to $12, before tip, for a beer & sprite.Won’t go here again.

Superb staff.... something about the vibe there is light and airy, aside from the ceilings. Feng shui on point, though. Also, I took my New Orleans friends there for the food trucks when visiting and they RAVED. It just happened to be the crayfish boil time, too. I did NOT expect it to compete....sorry, but it is kind of a thing there in Louisiana. Curry + crayfish - I do recommend. Kiindi can't be better.... I literally ponder the quality of the ingredients and the separation of flavors. It's really something. The onion...tastes like onion. Shouldn't be a rare thing, but it is.

Access and parking are a bit of a bear, but the drinks rock; the service is friendly; and the food from Browns trailer outside is unparalleled.
Great little place to hang out with friends. Their mezcal cocktail is amazing. The service is fast and the bartenders are friendly.

We were recommended this bar by a local for a snack on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't crowded. We grabbed a drink and the cornbread; it was delicious! It was hot outside, and there was only mild airflow. We sat at the bar, but there were a lot of open tables and some nice bigger patio seating. For whatever reason the fans weren't on. There were dogs around.

I recently ate breakfast at Corner Bar and had an amazing experience!! The food was fresh and the service was amazing. I had Lauren (definitely ask for her) and she was so personable and helpful. Having been in the hospitality industry, I know how hard it can be and she made it look easy! I highly recommend breakfast there if you're visiting Austin.
