Superb staff.... something about the vibe there is light and airy, aside from the ceilings. Feng shui on point, though. Also, I took my New Orleans friends there for the food trucks when visiting and they RAVED. It just happened to be the crayfish boil time, too. I did NOT expect it to compete....sorry, but it is kind of a thing there in Louisiana. Curry + crayfish - I do recommend. Kiindi can't be better.... We were recommended this bar by a local for a snack on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't crowded. We grabbed a drink and the cornbread; it was delicious! It was hot outside, and there was only mild airflow. We sat at the bar, but there were a lot of open tables and some nice bigger patio seating. For whatever reason the fans weren't on. There were dogs around.

We’re a native Austin, Texas USA family of 5 generations. THIS is one of the best bars in South Austin. Kendall was our bartender and she is awesome! She’s so nice and so welcoming to everyone, even a really obnoxious guy clearly from ‘out of town’ who was really harassing her. Eventually he left, but she didn’t even let it bother her.
