So I'm an original austinite, and yes, this was my first time here, sad to say. I'm glad I finally made it in to see what they have to offer. It was a great experience. I love all types of music, and these women were amazing. I would definitely like to come back and hear more musicians play here. I'm not a drinker, but I do like to try new drinks, so I did have one while here it was perfect, not too sweet or too strong. I even got to take my cup home with me as a momento....read full review

This place is history the real deal a good place to go and listen to real live down to earth musicians, and the people there are almost like family the real heart of Austin Texas, which used to be it ain’t anymore but Saxon pub is definitely the real real Austin Texas definitely a must go grab a beer

We loved this Austin music venue. It is definitely small but the bartenders and music were great! It would be nice if they had greater food options. The only thing available was a hot dog truck the night we went. If you are seeing a show, make sure to arrive early. Seating is limited. Otherwise you might have to stand by the bar.
