Ramen Tatsu-Ya Reviews
I 1000% recommend this place. I come here about once per week. Today I invited 2 of my friends to eat at the one in Lakeline. Mmmhmmm. Delicious.
Went here for dinner and it was a little chilly outside and they make you wait outside until they have space inside for seating. Not the best way to start to dining experience.
I ordered the Mi-So-Hot and they were able to add extra veggies. My husband ordered the Sho-Yu. For the price, we could have made this at home and it would have been a better atmosphere without the drive to Round Rock. We didn’t even get drink refills. We won’t be back.
terrible online experience. app kept routing me to a location to far away for me to travel. then when i tried to cancel their phone number doesn’t work and they only have an email

Ramen Tatsu-Ya is celebrated for serving some of the best ramen in the Austin-San Antonio area. The O.G. ramen is a favorite among customers for its rich broth and tender meat. The noodles are fresh and not like instant ramen. The fried brussels sprouts are recommended as a delicious topping. The restaurant features an open seating concept, and while it can get crowded, the wait is worth it. Ramen is the specialty, and it's the most impressive dish on the menu. The Crawmen, a seasonal dish, is a flavor parade that delights the senses. The Cajun-inspired broth is creamy, spicy, and buttery, with generous portions of juicy crawfish tails and bold, smoky andouille sausage. The succotash adds a crunchy and colorful contrast, while the unexpected lemon wheel provides a refreshing twist. Customers describe the experience as "a flavor bomb" and "a warm hug from a Southern grandma who also studied in Tokyo." The staff is super friendly, and the service is fast, with orders typically arriving quickly. The atmosphere transports diners to a casual ramen bar in Japan, with a lowkey vibe, making it a welcoming spot. The prices are reasonable, making it a budget-friendly option for those craving delicious ramen. The house sake was slightly sweet but smooth, and adding a butter bomb to the Mi So Not was a perfect touch. The drinks are good, and there is even a speakeasy in the back worth visiting. After eating here multiple times, many agree it is the best ramen in Austin and feels just like enjoying ramen in Japan.
