“Tiki Bar, = GREAT cocktails Jungle SuspensefulADVENTURE.This place really sets the mode for some awesome vibes that put you in the middle of a jungle it's like nowhere else you can locally visit.Definitely a must see if you are in Austin TXI've hit a lot of Tiki bars, and I will add this place on my list to recommend. The drinks were amazing ? ?I really like their attention to detail and the knowledge of all staff members.“
“Best Ramen I've had. The broth had a lot of depth, very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Leaves a good aftertaste on the pallet. Noodles were a good thickness and texture. The service was okay. Didn't give a hospitable vibe. That said, I've been back three times in the three weeks since I discovered this place. They've been consistent with food, service and atmosphere all three visits.“
“Seated immediately when the next door food place had a line out the door. Prices are good and staff attentive. Ordered fried gyoza dumplings, UNAGI roll, avocado roll, and the pork ramen, and a mango drink. Broth to the ramen was great saw many other customers enjoying their bowls with enthusiasm.“
“The line may be long, it may take an hour sometimes to get in, but it’s more than worth it. I never just go to leave good reviews on my own accord, but the Crawmen (Crawfish Ramen) was the best ramen I’ve ever had, the gyoza was delicious, the service was extremely quick, patient, and friendly. 10/10 “
“Delicious food and friendly staff! My food came out fast, fresh and delicious, but I had to take a phone call and when it was done, my ramen had gotten a little cold. I apologized to the staff and asked if they could heat it back up for me as it was my fault it had gotten cold. Without skipping a beat the staff member behind the bar immediately offered to remake it. She explained they don't have the ability to reheat it but would instead make my order again because she wanted to make sure I got to enjoy my ramen while it was fresh and hot. I can't say enough kind things about this location. When it comes to amazing ramen and the people who keep things running at this location, both are 5 stars in my book.“
“The food is ok, overpriced. Compared with the fresh made small batch ramen that used to come out of Austin’s best shops it’s lacking. The congress location feels like a hip cafeteria, not sure what the intention was but that’s what I felt. Never the friendliest to go window, and flavor bombs are often forgot. Overall it’s only ok“
“It's one of those hidden away, looks rundown little hole in the wall places. And you just know the food is perfect! You can actually tell the owner puts their heart into making this tiny place as beautiful as possible, and they put the same effort into their food too! I only wish I could come by more.“
“I absolutely loved everything. When you finish ordering you can go by the self service area and get you some miso soup. There’s also free water ;)We ordered the shrimp tempura roll and the beef udon. Both hit just right. At the end, we also order the choco fry. It had a mint flavor to it, but I personally liked it.“
“I must I have gone to many sushi restaurants. I truly enjoyed this restaurant. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. Great vegetarian options. Well worth the price. I feel you would enjoy the service and ambiance. Great for dining in or takeout. Average money spent will be probably 40 to 80 dollars due to so many great options. Great for leftovers the next day. I will definitely come back again. I don't give 5 stars out very easily. Thank you for Great sushi. Enjoy.“
“Simply amazing! This restaurant, in my opinion, serves the best ramen in Austin! It's better than the top rated ramen places in Central Austin. The restaurant is very clean, and the ambience was terrific. I had the simply Red ramen while my wife had the simply ramen, my son had the miso ramen and my other son had the black truffle ramen. The broth was rich and well seasoned. The meat also had a nice flavor to it and was tender. The ajitama egg was also well seasoned. Overall, the combination works very well. We also had the karage chicken. It is served on a bed of salad and also was very tasty. I will be eating here again and again as I have found my favorite spot for ramen.“
“Oh. My. God. The "Back 2 Basic" Ramen bowl was amazing, though *very* salty. The broth had an almost smoky flavor, the noodles were perfect, neither over nor undercooked. This seems to be a good ace for reasonably priced Japanese food, very fresh, and always beautiful presentation. There are many different sushi rolls, and you can have your green tea ice cream if you've been missing it I didn't take picture for you, because I gobbled it up too fast. Next time, because there will definitely be a next time, I plan to try the dragon roll,.just because it looks so cool. The only non-Japanese items on the menu are various poke bowls, and french fries. Seems like *every* restaurant has french fries on their menu, whether Middle Eastern, Greek, Mexican, Salvadoran... just an odd something I've noticed. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either, not for these times. Expect to drop 20, 25 dollars depending on what you order and whether you tip generously or are a cheapskate. Pictures next time, pro n ise!“
“WOW! What an amazing hole in the wall. It was our friend’s birthday, and they made it so much more special than expected. Amazing food, amazing service. The owner made and provided the best cheesecake ever (literally ever because I’ve never liked a cheesecake in my life) and such a personalized experience. I will be going here over and over for time to come. DON’T MISS OUT coming here.“
“Super yummy ramen! The broth for the OG and mi so hot were unique and very tasty. The ramen noodles had an odd texture, but not a deal breaker. Food took some time to get to the table. Staff was pretty friendly. Definitely a great experience overall though.“
“Decent, relatively straightforward ramen and apps, relying more on freshness and nuance than heavy flavors or huge servings. Broth wasn't as savory or thick as I'd hoped, but added cashews we're a treat. Professional and quiet. Can develop a bit of a line, but a pleasant date.“
“Certain dishes were just incredible - the miso soup, the poke bowls, crab rangoon, and the mushroom salad. The sweet and sour chicken was however very dry, no sauce at all. Mixed feelings overall, but this place definitely feels authentic and has a lot to offer.“

“Little shop doing its thing. Had the pork bowl with an egg and kimchi. Al of it was cooked well and tasteful. I personally feel that the atmosphere outside is the soul of the place. Catch an outdoor concert and chill with friends. The traffic on Guadalupe is hardly heard and it feels like you found a hidden corner of Austin even if it’s right outside of a major university.Deduction of a star just because it would be nice to have the tables outside cleaned up. Maybe it’s a shared space? However, it’s part of their little area.Great place to check out!“
“Honestly, a pretty decently priced restaurant! And the food is high quality too! Shared an appetizer and the sashimi bowl with a friend and we were both decently full at the end. The takoyaki is so creamy and it comes out nice and warm. Would definitely recommend that. And the sashimi bibimbap is so worth it. For $23 you get a huge bowl of sashimi, rice, and vegetables. And you get to mix it all like bibimbap.“
“The food and flavors were fantastic. We ordered crab Rangoon, edamame, and fried calamari appetizers and then Tokyo Ramen, Rice Bowl with chicken teriyaki, and a Bento box with steak. The meat was absolutely unreal. Perfectly cooked and flavored. My daughter got strawberry and said 9/10 (could have been colder - you’ll see it was a little mushy in the pic).“
“We ordered online over the pandemic and really enjoyed it, so we decided to visit in person. Unfortunately, I think the quality has decreased since then. I was surprised by the amount of good reviews; I think it's good but not great. The food is good, but tastes a little cheap: everything tastes watered down. From the salad dressing to the soy sauce and teriyaki chicken. Overall, it was still very enjoyable! They have many options and the food is still tasty. It reminds me of comfort food but Asian; it is cheerful, simple, and satisfying to eat.“
“I was craving a Bento box with chicken teriyaki and tempura and I wanted to pick it up. What I got was both of the above, rice, sushi, soup and salad in a quantity that has allowed me to make several meals out of it. Excellent flavor and excellent quality of food. I’m so satisfied that I sent their website to everyone that i know in the area, Bravo! dont let the smal profile from the outside fool you. this is great food at a very reasonable price.“
“The staff were really nice and respectful. The place got really busy as it got darker out and there was a giant line of people, buuuut I totally understood why when I had my food. I'm not a huge fan of ramen anymore, but it was quite tasty! They also have outdoor seating, which is what I wanted, but my girlfriend wanted to sit inside because it was cold. We found out leaving the restaurant that the outdoor seating has heaters above! It's super pretty and will definitely come back!“
“Ooohhh man I'm only disappointed that I didn't know about this place until like a week ago..... The man that helped me was very helpful and generous, helped me make my decision being a first timer and all I can say is this was sooooooo DELICIOUS ?. The noodles and soup was amazing the meat was just a bonus, the egg and house chili oil went perfectly..... Very satisfying will definitely be back......“
“I'm not in Austin very often so when I come to town I try to make sure and try something different. Decided to try Fat Dragon because I wanted some real soup dumplings. It was so good. I actually came back a second time a few days later.“
“Best in Asutin. I try to order something new every time because it is ALL delicious. Husband orders the soup dumplings which are a must try, Sichuan chicken is addictive (you've been warned), mala spicy fish, Singaporean rice noodles, Chinese fried rice, hot n sour soup, fried wontons, YES Queen fat dragon just YES.“
“an incredible experience. our server Liam was on point and very considerate to our celiac allergies. he went back and forth to the kitchen like 2000 times. thats service baby. the nigiri was to die for. overall would come back. back in parking is a pain tho“
