Only next level Japanese dining enthusiasts would be able to immediately recognize that they have chosen well. If you are lucky enough to discover the Happy Hour menu then you’ve hit the jackpot. Do yourself a favor and go because ain’t nobody have dry aged fish! What?!? Yes this separates Lucky Robot from the rest of the Japanese places in Austin. Put it on the bucket list folks!
We had a wonderful experience at Lucky Robot! The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully, making each dish feel like a work of art.The decor and ambiance of the restaurant were incredibly nice, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. A little disappointed that the menu did not specify that the okonomiyaki came with sriracha and a spicy mayo. It was still very enjoyable but thought it was bad form to not specify the flavor profile of the dish on the menu as this wasn't what I was expecting from the description. Also, they only serve their own soda spritzers with no zero sugar option!
