Only next level Japanese dining enthusiasts would be able to immediately recognize that they have chosen well. If you are lucky enough to discover the Happy Hour menu then you’ve hit the jackpot. Do yourself a favor and go because ain’t nobody have dry aged fish! What?!? Yes this separates Lucky Robot from the rest of the Japanese places in Austin. Put it on the bucket list folks!
Perfect setting, service, and amazing food for all ages. With a big group, we were able to try a variety of items: wagyu hot rock, a few rolls, a few dry aged & regular nigiris, chicken, ramen, pork dumplings, brussels.

The food was great & the atmosphere was great. The biggest plus was how seriously they take those who are celiac and potential cross-contamination. This was the safest I've felt eating out in Austin in a very long time. Josh was our server and he was so great.

The staff is accommodating, friendly, and eager to ensure diners have a fun and memorable time, even calling after the meal to return lost items. Despite occasional wait times, the restaurant’s lively atmosphere and engaging staff make it worth the wait.
