After a 4 mile run around the downtown area breakfast at the CORNER restaurant seemed like a great choice… I told my menu extraordinaire (Waiter) Jose D. Something light but hearty, I have a big day. Jose didn’t skip a beat. Recommended the chefs pressed Orange/Ginger juice. Eggs Benny sub Chicken Sausage, he did not disappoint. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! Thank you Jose for starting my day off just right! Xoxo

My shrimp ceviche was bland, only had a few pieces of shrimp, and came with a lot of very thick chips… not very good. Our server did not seem happy to be there. The one saving grace was the atmosphere. My friends and I got a seat on the patio. The weather was nice and we enjoyed chatting while doing some people watching and sipping on mimosas.

This was our first time to visit and we will definitely be going back. The drinks were really good (cranberry mimosas) and the food had really good taste. The portion sizes were larger than we expected which was even better. The three-star for service is due to the extended wait for our server when we were just seated and then again when our drinks needed to be refilled. We ordered a serving carafe of cranberry mimosas but had to ask another of the wait staff as our server was “MIA”.

Stopped into Austin for a day trip. And had brunch! Amazing Breakfast Burger, and hubby had chicken & waffles which was equally delish. Jose was our server, friendly, attentive and well def be coming back!
