Service is great, the ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. Best ramen in Austin hands down, not even close in the race. I got addicted to the spicy tori and started eating there every few days. I'd recommend to go in and sit down, if you order in store you get a bigger portion for your buck.

We went for the creamy duck ramen we heard about so much. It comes with three different proteins on top and each is deliciously tender. The noodles had a delicious consistency and great slurpiness. All around, a great ramen option for the neighborhood.

Good while it lasted… they are changing the concept from somewhere you can get an excellent bowl of ramen for $15 to a $$$$ omakase place. So it’s now a once-a-year experience. I’m sure the omakase will be excellent, I just wish this place stayed accessible…

Good ramen restaurant. Nice and quick service. Completely different menu to Sazan, which is good. But I still prefer the creamy saitan ramen from the original Sazan. Seems like they're still settling since the menu has changed since the first time I went. I hope they continue to have sake bombs!

We went there for the first time Sunday night before MLK and the service was the best. So polite & caring, bit of a dying breed in a lot of casual establishments. Both our server & the busboy were awesome. The food was great too.

The smoked chicken ramen was so delicious. It had a very unique flavor, almost peppery.

Very tasty, nice service, and a great location. $14.50 for vegan shoyu, but I'd say it was better than most. I really loved the king of trumpet mushrooms.

Small but comfy vibe with plenty of seating including seats at the bar. I was with my husband and 2 young kids and another couple with their young kid. Both of the toddler started having melt down so the other mom and I decided it's time to take them home. We left our husband with the baby. I asked my husband to order me the Daiboku Miso Jirokei ramen. The noodles were thicker than I expected. Broth was flavorful, garlicky, creamy and rich. The pork belly was nice and tender. I also got to try the Daiboku wings and it was season with a delicious yellow curry and nicely crispy. Overall, the ramen style is not the usually ramen I usually have but it was a good bowl of ramen.

Overall, it was an alright experience. I got the spict miso ramen, asked for all spicier elements on the side, and they brought it out with everything in the bowl (I wanted to control the level of spice in it). And the bowl had a few crusty bits on the rim (some fell off due to scraping it to test if it was old dried food).

I got the Smoked Chicken Shoyu. Chicken was cooked well and really has the smokey flavor. Noodles were bouncy and al dente. Soup was light yet flavorful. Overall it was a good meal, but not my favorite ramen ever. If you get the Jirokei, know that it comes with the wide noodles - which some people may not like for ramen.
