Din Ho Chinese BBQ Reviews
The food is good but the bowl of rice is only half full and if you ask for more they charge you $3 without telling you it is an extra charge.
We were refused service after we sat down order our drinks then later was told to leave and order take out instead because of my 2.6 year old was crying. I told them that it was just a kid. When leaving the premises I told one of the ladies that it was very rude and one of the ladies started yelling at me while walking out.
Been sick for a week, hubby decided to picked up my favorite soup, roast duck wontons noodles soup. I was disappointed, such a small portion. A bag of instant ramen noodles had more noodles than that. Now, I understand that everything had gone up, other restaurants raise their prices, not serve customers ridiculous portion and went up in price. We have been regular customers at Din Ho for many years, now I remembered why we stopped going a year ago.

Din Ho Chinese BBQ in Austin is a popular spot for authentic Chinese cuisine. The busy restaurant offers efficient service and tasty dishes like fried wontons, assorted BBQ, and veggie delight. The vegetables are well-cooked and colorful, mainly featuring cabbage and broccoli. The menu includes flavorful options such as crispy pork belly and juicy roast duck. Customers often praise the dishes for being served hot and fresh. The roast duck is consistently praised for its crispy skin and good flavor, though some find the meat slightly gamey and bony, especially when taken to-go. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly, making it a great place for dine-in or take-out. The atmosphere is lively, and customers enjoy the overall experience, despite parking being difficult during busy hours.
