I’ve been wanting to try dove tail pizza in Austin forever! The apps, the mocktails, the pizza, the fries, the chimichurri, the chili oil it’s all a must!!!!! The pizza is big enough to share for two. We didn’t wait to sit down long. Service was fast and The food was fresh. It’s definitely family friendly or date night friendly!

I live in the neighborhood and have always thought this place was cute, so I brought my family to give it a try! The kale salad was a huge standout for me and my entire family loved the chicken parm. Service was nice, they validated parking, and the space was cute. Honestly surprised this place isn’t harder to get into. Go eat everyone !! Oh and they were dog friendly on the patio, we loved that!

Been driving past this place for a while and finally decided to give it a shot for lunch. We started with the fried olives (so good) and then shared the prime rib pizza. The pizza was great - thin and crispy crust and the toppings all came together really well. I usually always like red sauce on my pizza and this one doesn’t have that as the base but I asked for a side of their marinara which was a solid red sauce and really elevated the pizza for me.
They have great cocktails and a cute vibe - recommend giving this place a try!

Chicken parm itself is HUGE! Plan to share 😋 Meat pizza was really good! Crispy, foldable crust, just enough sauce to not overpower the toppings, fresh grated parm on top 🤌

The PERFECT wood fired pizza. Sauce...perfection. Cheese...perfection. Cheese to sauce ratio... perfection. Crust was thin and crunchy but buttery and soooo delicious. Just an absolute taste accomplishment!!!

This pizza is amazing!! I'm gluten free and their crust and flavor reminded me so much of Chicago bar pizza in the best way. It was thin, crunchy, huge in size (not the usual tiny personal pies I get at other restaurants) and so so yummy. Leftovers were great the next day too when I warmed them up in my oven. Customer service was attentive, vibe was relaxed but still nice. It was perfect for a pizza date night. My partner loved the regular pizza too and was raving about it the next day. We can't wait to come back! This is gonna be a regular rotation for sure.

Having to eat gluten free can be difficult in many ways but finding the best gluten free pizza option has been a struggle for me. I even stopped trying to find a pizza in TX that I liked… Dovetail has now become my FAVORITE GLUTEN FREE pizza in Austin!
The sauce is flavorful and the cheese is amazing. They give you the same experience as everyone else by giving you a full sized pizza and getting that fun cut. I really enjoy the effort they put in to give those who eat gf the same experience as everyone else. If you’re apprehensive in trying the gf pizza, try their amazing chicken wings or their wedge salad. Also my favorite wedge salad in town!
