Went there with a group. I wouldn't have chosen this place myself just looking at the menu.Everything we ordered was mediocre. The gluten free pizza was not good. The fried olives were different but the flavours were nothing special. The wings were dry and lacked flavour. Creme brulée was average. Chocolate brownie was just ok. Overall the food was just no good.

this is one of the best pizza places in austin !! (comparable to homeslice) the restaurant is a date vibe and very homey inside. service was amazing - they recommended the prime rib pizza to us!

Great pizza with nice outdoor seating. We had the calamari which was a little oily but the wedge salad and veggie sandwich were delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

As an out-of-town visitor, I was incredibly impressed by the hospitality and culinary delights at Dovetail Pizza. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even without a reservation, swiftly seating us and providing top notch service throughout our meal. I opted for the spaghetti and meatballs along with a pepperoni pizza with my family. Which the pizza was absolutely great and easily among the best I've ever tasted. The sauce to go with the pizza was something different and new which I love. I have never had but it was super delicious with the pizza. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Cold Pizza upon pickup and they didn't bother putting the extra cheese on my pizza.

Pretty good gluten free pizza! Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Got the prime rib and the pepperoni. Sat at the bar while I waited for my food and everyone was very attentive, great service.

I used to live in this part of Austin, so while we were visiting for the weekend we decided to give this place a try. The pizza was amazing, the service was perfect and the location...amazing. I can't recommend this place enough if you want a good, unique, fantastic pizza. The outside patio is amazing as is the inside. Hightly recommend!

20 inch pizza?? iPhone 11 is 6 inches and covers half the pizza. It was cold and NOT 20 in, paid $20 , plus Uber eats. Sad, ripoff

I didn't get to eat there sadly but was so excited when I showed up... gluten free pizza, calamari, etc... according to their menu... show up and apparently nothing is actually safe for a gluten allergy. The calamari is fried in oil that fries gluten in and pizza is not safe either. I don't usually leave bad reviews but it's something they can fix. They can make actual gf safe food or just save people the gas/trip and not claim it's gluten free.

Delicious pizza, oval shaped, hip, and nice ambiance. it's just a little over-priced for pizza. Great drinks, with the offering of a full bar. we had numerous appetizers, and liked the fried olives the best, they are a different twist.
