Food truck located at South Austin Beer Garden. It took 25 minutes for 2 burgers. The hamburgers were cold, dry, thin, and tasteless. The guy working in the truck had zero personality and acted like he didn't want to be there. Worst burgers ever. Too expensive for poor quality. I wish SABG would get some RELIABLE, GOOD FOOD TRUCKS! We love the place, but we often want to eat and the trucks are closed when they're supposed to be open. Frustrating ?

I hired Downtown Burgers to cater an event for 40 people. We corresponded with the co owner of this company for months, and the catering was confirmed weeks in advance. The day of they never showed and they never contacted me to let me know they were unable to cater the event. I had to call the owner for assistance in order to have original Downtown Burger representative return my call. I was given an excuse about the truck breaking down and no offer to resolve the issue was offered.I would not recommend this service for any event and I am definitely disappointed in how the situation was handled.Follow Up-After I posted about my experience on Google I read the company’s response, and what they are stipulating is untrue. I made all arrangements directly with Downtown Burgers and not Truckster like response stipulates. I have the emails to prove it. It is completely irresponsible for this company to blame Truckster, when they chose to not communicate effectively. A simple response and apology via email would have been the appropriate course of action. It is clear that this is a subpar business who lacks communication skills and professionalism. Buyer Beware.

Don't eat at this nasty little trailer! Everything was dirty, even the napkins. Fries came out 20 minutes after our burgers and were served with ice cold cheese sauce. Burger buns were so burnt they were black but were served to us anyways.

I am in a tower crane on the corner of Cesar Chavez and red river right next door. A fella on our jobsite gets all three of us operators food from here every couple of weeks. Their food has been great every time. I recommend the Hawaiian burger. I have spoke with the owner twice. He is a super cool kat with some super cool v-dubs.

One of the best burgers in Austin! I got a cheeseburger from this food truck which is close to the convention center downtown. Delicious burger, friendly guys running it, reasonably priced, and will be my go to when I’m craving a great grilled burger in Austin!
