DinnerOut

Nice casual place for a date or an evening with friends. Ceviche was very interesting and the Chavez Burger was one of the best burgers I have had - very creative and well executed.

I dined here with my spouse on a Saturday night around 8:30 at a reserved table. They were fairly busy even after the game day crowd had dispersed. We were both delighted and impressed with the large bar decked out in oakwood. Our server was very pleasant and helpful, and the food was more delicious than we had anticipated. We split the garlic herb Parmesan frites, then enjoyed the big boss burger and special grits. Both entrees were exploding with flavor and had perfect texture and temperature. My wife enjoyed a couple of their cocktails. One was a coffee infused manhattan style drink that I sampled and can assure you was the most enjoyable boozy coffee drink I've ever had! We were too full for desert, so we have to check out those items the next time we go, because we definitely will dine there again!

I would not recommend going here, the food that my friends and I got was probably the worst food I've ever eaten.. You could get a better value at chick fil a.. and they would actually serve you at chick fil a. The service was terrible as well. 0/10 recommend.

The brussels sprouts were amazing. We had brunch there and started with those and everyone got something different. The bloody Mary was gorgeous and totally divine the avocado sandwich, egg sandwich, in fact, all six dishes, including my shrimp and grits with goat cheese all were divine..!

We had a large group of 14 and they sat us right next to a large and very loud group. We could not even speak to the person next to us, the restaurant was so loud. They brought water to our table which was literally warm and we all had to ask for glasses of ice. In general, the food was OK the French toast, which is supposed to be a big hit had way too much syrup, so just ask for it on the side. Overall food was OK 3 star worthy.

We had a great time as a bachelorette party! Seemed like there were a couple other bachelor or bachelorette parties in there as well. The food was really good! Drinks were hit or miss just depended on what was ordered haha. Ambiance was good! Would go back!!

Loved, loved, loved every minute of our brunch at EastSide ATX! I will always remember the genuine customer service and delicious food, delivered with abundance of care, professionalism and kindness. This meal was the last meal I would have with my sons all together for several months; so, I couldn't be more thankful for our server, hostess and support staff's caring excellence making our experience welcoming, fun filled and memorable. Thank you, thank, thank you!!!

We loved the food & atmosphere. The food was well presented & creative, yet homey enough for the kids to enjoy it!! The waitstaff was friendly & attentive. Excellent place, we will definitely be back!

Good experience overall besides sitting on the patio, but we knew with our group that was the only option. Food was good, but service was slow. Once again, probably due to our large group size

I had the best experience at EastSide ATX. I had reservations for a group of 14 and the meal was perfect. Drinks were constantly coming quickly and the food came out together, fresh, and most importantly delicious. Highly recommended and will come back the next time I visit Austin.

We went at 12:45 for brunch. It was full and loud. Our server got overseated and was a little in the weeds. Queso was indeed bueno; chips and salsa are good too. Two of three plates came out with the promise of the third - breakfast bowl. Eggs weren't warm enough to melt the cheese, and hash brown casserole could have used more time. Mac & cheese with buffalo cauliflower was good. Burger was good - with the hash browns removed. May try again.

We made a reservation for a large party and were well taken care of! The service was great given how busy they were. Very attentive and communicative. The food was absolutely delicious. The only draw back is that it was quite loud as there were several large parties, ours included, making it a little difficult to hear everyone at the table without shouting. However, I would absolutely go here again for brunch and am interested in checking out their dinner service.

Good location, good food, has the potential to be much better. The menu is way overpriced in my opinion and most things are priced ala carte. A simple burger and fries is about $20. A simple salad with a small piece of protein is $24. The service was unfortunately pretty terrible. It took a very long time to get our food and there were only 3-4 other tables in the restaurant at that time. The food came out piece meal and by the time the last order was delivered, the first person had already finished their meal. The waitress rarely came back to check on drinks and after waiting for over 20 minutes, I had to go to the bar to ask for our bill. For that reason, I don't think we'll be back.

Party of 4 visiting for Mother's Day brunch. Since the place was all concrete, wood & glass, it was too loud to have a conversation without raising our voices. My 75 year old mom didn't hear much. I ordered the $20 Hangover. It's a sandwich but not noted as a sandwich on the menu. I know we're dealing with inflation but it wasn't a $20 sandwich. Chips & Queso was $12, didn't seem like anything extra. Service was good, except don't drop the check with the moms on Mother's Day; they get the day off from math.

We are here from Seattle and this place is walking distance from our Airbnb. We walked in twice in one day yesterday and the staff Sam/Kate were amazing. The food was quick, hot and so good. We wanted to come back again so decided to make a reservation - again, did not disappoint! I would suggest this place to locals and any friends I know heading to Austin. We have 3 more days and will probably be back...they made us feel as welcomed as locals. This place has the best vibe and the cooks are awesome! Met a few...
