Great ambiance, decor, service, and wide variety of great menu options. Only complaint was the halibut - which should be very light and flaky - was tough like a much cheaper fish, like cod or flounder. Short rib and the apps were excellent though.
Food was absolutely delicious and way above my expectations. The NY Times was not wrong when it called this a 5 star food experience. The service was also top notch, even with a "trainee" in tow. He was (Nate) on top of everything. The bar drinks left me with a sense of disappointment, both in the quality and taste of the offerings, both wine and cocktails. However, I will definitely go back.
While the service and food remains very good. We were a bit put off by the addition of an employee benefits charge. To us this should be included in the cost of goods ie the food. Add the cost to the price of the food items.
