My date recently took me to this spot, and while it’s a little tricky to find, that actually adds to its charm! It feels like a hunt discovering a hidden gem. Inside, the space has a refined speakeasy vibe with a strong artistic flair, and the drinks were excellent. The only downside was that the bartender checked in on us a bit too frequently, which disrupted the flow of the date. Otherwise, it was a great experience overall.

Kira and Aet are incredible bar tenders and I highly recommend visiting this establishment!!!

Cute little place. Interesting entrance. One of the better speakeasies in Austin I would have to say.

If you are truly in search of boutique, bespoke cocktails in Austin, you would be amiss to not be aware this speakeasy's hidden secret.
Eden can go toe-to-toe on drink quality with any of the finest cocktail bars in town, but for now at least, its singular strength lies in its laid-back feel.
Their business hours are generous. There's no loud music. There's rarely a line to be seated, and it's not too dark to see.
Put plainly, it's not pretentious. It could be your neighborhood bar, if your neighborhood bar had a New York trained head cocktailian, of course.
It is always my pleasure to catch David evenings he is on shift.

I would avoid this place at all costs. It’s in a sketchy location with an unfriendly staff, overpriced cocktails, and generally bad vibes.

We had a reservation here for 5 people at 10pm. We walked in thinking we were in the wrong spot because it was in such a bad spot and completely dead inside. At 10:24, the waitress, who had been unfriendly with us since the moment we walked in, told us we’d have to leave in a few minutes because there was another reservation. Girl, I just sat down to my own reservation! There were only 2 other parties in the whole place, not even half full, and quick glance at Resy said there were still open for 5 people at 10:30, 10:45, 11:00, 11:15, etc. I know we were being a little talkative at our table, so I straight up asked the waitress when she returned: “Are we being too loud?” She pretended she didn’t understand what I was asking. I just wanted honesty, we would’ve been quieter if they asked! I cannot FATHOM why a half empty bar on a Saturday night would be passive aggressively asking us to leave, but the vibes were ruined by that point so we left. It left a sour taste in our mouths, we were just a group of friends excited to try a new cocktail bar.

Even without the rudeness of the waitress, it was still a red flag from the moment we walked in based on the sketchy Dirty 6th alleyway and the prices for mediocre drinks. Really awful place!

Drinks were average. Constantly reminded by staff that we had to leave after 1.5 hrs so felt rushed. Atmosphere was nothing special.

Eden has a cool speakeasy vibe and is tucked away in an alley (look for the purple door). I didn't feel very safe walking there at night--even with my husband--so I'd recommend going with a group, especially after dark.

There was only one bartender working that night. She greeted us with water and got us seated quickly, but never came back to take our order. We eventually had to walk up to the bar ourselves since she was more engaged in conversation with the two guys seated in front of her.

I wil give credit to the beautiful wordsmithing describing each drink. It sounds like a dream but the cocktails didn't live up to it. They weren't bad but for the same price point, I rather go to the Eleanor or the Powder Room for craft cocktails. The decorations are nice though so it is a good place to hang out with friends.

Dandelion ($19): Rosa Luna mezcal mingles with italicus, cointreau noir, and agave crowned by a dusting of gold - smokey at its core with gentle whispers of floral & citrus.

The Fall of Dram ($19): Monkey shoulder and Armagnac mingle with toasted coconut & a soft touch of soda, creating a warm balanced sip with gentle sweetness.

A new found hidden gem in the city (well it is a speakeasy of course). The drinks, service and the vibe was great. Victoria is top of her craft.

This place has the potential for being cool but it was a let down for us. The service was super slow. The drinks were all $20 each but the two we had were good. The worst part was that we were sat near the entrance to another bar, I guess. There was a curtain and the music was loud where you'd be hearing both places at once. Not enjoyable at all.

Love the decor, the lighting, the seating. The cocktails are great, service is always solid. The music ....I just want something chill when I am chatting and having a good craft cocktail. I want R&B or Jazz or something.......hard core rap and hip hop doesn't work for that atmosphere. Only complaint is the music, but honestly that does usually make me like other bars over Eden when I am making my plans

I like to try out different cocktail bars/ speak Easys. I had high expectations for this place based on the reviews and the fact reservations are encouraged. Service was good and they explained the menu very well. Unfortunately, they were out of a number of things so the drink I wanted wasn’t made with its full potential. I felt like for how they advertise their drinks, I was expecting a lot more from them. They just tasted like a poorly made cocktail. I forced myself to drink it because it’s so expensive but there was nothing special about it. The atmosphere is dark and mysterious. I do love the neon art u see walking through to the main space. However, they need a good clean in there. I felt so dirty sitting there. All I could smell was permeating vomit. My husbands pants got dirty from sitting on the booth side. They would go a long way if they would get a deep clean and maybe aroma therapy scents in there. I felt dirty immediately entering and like the smell of vomit was just following me around the rest of the evening. Not what I would consider a classy speakeasy to have a cocktail. Overall I was extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend unless they make some improvements.
