Our party of 8 had the most amazing dinner experience at El Alma. Our server Mark was outstanding, the atmosphere was fun and just what a bunch of moms out to dinner free of their kids needed! The drinks were as amazing as ever (highly recommend the Almatini), and the food was incredible. The tacos never disappoint, and I am obsessed with the rice and cheese relleno. I wanted to like this place. I read a lot of good reviews but I was disappointed. The service was great. The margaritas were great. The food was just ok. The queso, tacos, and enchiladas were ok but lackluster. I was expecting something to stand out. The best part of the meal were the elote and the plantains. When a place trys to make Tex-Mex fancier, I expect more.

It was good except the wiater kept ignoring me. Also everyone got charged 1.5% for a wellness charge which is like kind of ridiculous. The menu says that they do this, but in tiny font... also like where is that money even going? So weird to me.
