The food is excellent and so is the service. The noise level is a little on the high side around UT ball games, but not terrible. It is our.pregame “go to” place and it never disappoints🧡
El Chile has a variety of wonderful food options. In addition, they have a variety of fresh & wonderful cocktails.
Had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the food was just not good. My puffy huevos rancheros not only did not have puffy tortillas but soggy like migas. My husbands chilaquiles were also cooked like migas with soggy .tortillas and scrambled eggs instead of over easy. My sons beef fajitas were completely inedible the beef was too tough to eat. My daughter in laws fish tacos seemed ok, but for $100 for brunch for 4, definitely not a good value.
Loved this fun restaurant with a great patio and atmosphere. The drinks were wonderful, servic excellent, and food delicious! This was a great place to meet with friends and have a great evening out.
Most enjoyable experience every time. The staff are so incredibly warm, receptive and helpful, and the food is absolutely top notch consistently. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent drinks!
Awesome location and .5 miles from Bass Concert Hall which makes it perfect before a show. Great food and drinks. The wait staff are amazing, Ash was very attentive and made sure our food was out in a timely fashion.
Service was great and food was delicious. Top shelf marg is best in Austin. What more can you ask for!
One of the best places to eat in Austin. The food & drinks is always good every time we come back. The wait staff are right on point and attentive to your dinning experience with great recommendations on what you are looking for.
It is very good, there is a need to clarify a little in the menu when something is very spicy or when it is sweeter. But the food is delicious ✨the Bloody Mary is very good too

Was in Sunday night before a show. We were seated quickly, got the perfect margarita and caesar salad with shrimp. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We will be back soon.

Disgusting overpriced food. Service was terrible. Coffee was gross. And this is supposedly one of the best Tex-Mex places in Austin? What a joke.

Went here on a Saturday before a Tennessee Volunteers vs Texas Longhorns game (Go Volunteers)! Ghost Margaritas were good, Aguachile Chiltepin (shrimp ceviche) and Beef Quesadillas were good. Would definitely come back for brunch!

I went there yesterday with friends and family. To start, my friend and I both have service dogs mine does not have a label.
We picked what we thought was a dog friendly patio Resturaunt option.
Upon entering the service dog only sign is not visible as it is in front of a parking spot.
However when entering with my friend the host was rude to both me and my friend. Speaking in a demeaning tone. I have anxiety and repeatedly that the way he was speaking to me was not ok and was making me uncomfortable and stressed. He preceded to tell me lying was against the law. Which further escalated an unnecessary situation.
Normally I am always open to discussion and am very patient and understanding. I am happy to explain and talk. But the host was so rude from the beginning that it just set the whole situation into a negative and aggressive direction
I was parked in a handicapped spot, I have never been approached this way at a resturaunt where I felt so aggressively pressured to justify disability and my need for a service animal. I even stated “I know the rules this is not my first service dog but your way of talking to me is making me very stressed and uncomfortable”. my friend and I were both taken aback and it set the whole experience back.
On top of it all the food was extremely lacking. The pozole was terrible, my steak was tough and impossible to cut and eat. Such a shame I used to love El Chile.
In the end we realized. We should have just gone to Mi Madre’s. So disappointing. At least we saw a rainbow.
