Old Austin TexMex that's been a family favorite for four decades. Great vintage atmosphere and Delish food, at good prices. 😋

It’s genuinely sad how far downhill this place has gone. Have gone for decades but the last few years since the changeover the service has been abysmal, the food way worse and way more expensive. Sucks to see a great long time spot fall off so hard

Normally we have had good meals in the past. Its always been a solid option throughout the years but this last time on a Friday night was not the best. According to our server they were training kitchen staff. On one of your busier nights maybe not the best thing to do. Our enchiladas were SWEET. Once we brought it up to the server that's when he went into the kitchen and came back with the training kitchen staff info. Anyway we hope next time will be better, if there is a next time.

Genuinely horrible food and service. There are many better spots in the vicinity.
Not only was the food terrible, but I walked out to find a boot on my car! The parking attendant waits in the lot to boot cars if you aren’t dining at El Patio, yet even after I showed him my receipt, he told me it was “too late, it’s already in the system.” I still had to pay $100 to have it removed, even though I had just eaten there. Between the poor food and the $100 parking fee, it’s absolutely not worth it.

Old Austin traditional Tex-Mex. Great food, great service and an atmosphere with old UT memorabilia. The fajita nachos were finished off in the oven and were great, as was their Frozen margarita. Will go back as I have for many years.
