Really good chips, shells, enchiladas! Sweet tea!! Sweet people!!! Get the bean and cheese taco. It’s on a flat shell we call chalupas/tostadas. They call tacos but they’re flat Real good.
Stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. Fresh chips and salsa came out as I sat down. Bartender was very attentive even though he had other tables on the floor. Food came out fast and was hot. Ordered the chicken fajita nachos. They are pretty basic as far as ingredients but were very tasty. Will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.
Grew up in Austin and had heard of El Patio - finally went and have been back 3 more times! Generous portions and delicious! It is reminiscent of when it was first in business - not modern but nostalgic. It is decorated with Texas Longhorn memorabilia.
