I've eaten at this restaurant since I was a kid with my dad and siblings. We loved the half sleeve of crackers and salsa, but that doesn't happen anymore. I can't recommend this place enough. Never had a bad experience, with food or service.
An elderly couple at the bar overheard that it was my first time there and that I’m new to Austin. They insisted on covering my beer and tacos—and even offered to lend me their extra pickup truck until I got settled. Pure Texan class.
Great tex-mex food and service. Flat crispy tacos made with a unique awesome shell! Chips and salsa were delicious. Cheese enchiladas were filled with cheese and topped with cheese! Place has been open since 1954. That tells you how good the food is.
