Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.

We've bought the full chicken from this restaurant through the drive thru before and we like it. We decided to stop and go inside this time because we wanted to eat in after seeing on the menu a carne asada plate that looked very delicious. We got the order and it was nothing like the picture. It was a bit too dry, not enough meat, charro beans was good and the rice was a bit cold and dry. First and last time eating there.
