Ovenbird | Austin Reviews
We stopped for breakfast and it was delicious! Got breakfast sandwiches served on the most amazing Bavarian Croissant (like a pretzel and a croissant had a baby)! Will definitely go back again!
4.5. French toast very sweet.
We didn’t get the full brunch menu since went during the week.
The basic breakfast plate was solid.
Food good enough to be back.
Their coffee is amazing though. Pecan and chai were excellent.

Ovenbird, a popular brunch spot, offers a delightful dining experience with its delicious menu and attentive service. The restaurant is known for its cozy vibes, rich coffee aromas, and a menu that hits just right. Highlights include the mouthwatering duck fat potatoes, the indulgent French toast with its crispy edges and fluffy interior, and the perfectly crafted flat whites. Customers can enjoy unique Eastern European pastries, which are baked fresh and highly recommended. The outdoor seating area is great, and while there may be some friendly flies, it adds to the charm. The ordering process is convenient, utilizing a QR code system, and the food is prepared quickly. Although the $8 spring salad may not be a must-try, the breakfast sandwich and Wellington pastry are favorites. Ovenbird's staff is friendly, ensuring that the tables are kept clean and water is readily available. Overall, Ovenbird provides a satisfying brunch experience for both families and couples alike, making it a hidden gem in the Austin breakfast scene.
