Came in for a quick bite at 1:00 pm after seeing this place everything I stop at the book store and wanted to give it a try. Between the torta and ordinary, I took the gordita. Zero lack of sides except for chips as shown. Food was served quickly, within 10 minutes of ordering. I was not impressed with what I received after paying just over $11. Gordita broke apart at 2nd bite and revealed about 3 oz of salty chicken. Lettuce was yellow and white. I picked apart what I could, packed up the chips for later and that's a wrap.

Absolutely pitiful I come here all the time and its usually great but this time oh boy! First I was only one in line at the drive through but I had to wait nearly 10min for 3 tacos. All were unusually small but onne of them the pastor was pitiful. there was barely meat on it and it was ice cold like they didn't have any heated up on the line so the cook went to the back, probably using their bare hands, and grabbed the smallest amount of meat on it. Like I said all the tacos were small but the pastor was extra small. They really screwed me over on this order.

I just walked here at 6pm for tacos. I come her everyday after work for dinner. I walked here and they told me they cant serve me. only through drive through. this feels so wrong. I will never come again
Their Equinox, which is horchata with a shot of expresso is good. I don't recommend adding two shots because it over powers the horchata. I'm mexican and I can say their barbacoa is pretty good. Would like to go back and try other proteins!

Went to have dinner there on Jan.16 2025 around 4pm counter service is lacking the young man there needs people skills some lady was eating in the back where food is being prepared.Ordered Ceviche with chips when I brought it back because it was missing avocado and cilantro they looked confused on what goes in it. I mean hello the ingredients are on giant menu behind you. Overall I won't be back it's to expensive, food was OK, and service sucks plenty of other expensive places around there that at least make you feel welcome.

I really like this little spot and I've become a regular. The food is freshly made and always delicious. All the tacos I've tried (and that's a lot) have been good, and I especially recommend the kicky molcajete sauce (which the staff calls "el mojo"). Friendly folks and convenient drive-thru. A welcome addition to inexpensive dining options in Brentwood.

I come here often on my way home from an overnight shift and the refried beans have NEVER been ready even though the store is open for business. The cashier takes my card for payment and tells me after payment is complete that the beans aren't ready. Then the cashier tells me there's no manager on site to give me a refund so I have to call back later if I want my money back.
So I paid and left WITHOUT FOOD. This has happened twice. I'm currently in the parking lot AGAIN waiting for beans to be ready. Maybe this location needs to open later so that they have time to prepare for business 🤷♀️
Low quality Barbacoa tacos. Especially for the price
this place used to be 5 stars across the board. Specially the original stand. but, it has been on a slow decline. consistantly out of some of the proteins, and in this case, the pastor was not sufficiently seasoned. it was underwhelming. :(

Pretty decent food. No indoor dining only the drive-thru is open. Kind of on the expensive side. One of the major thing of note. They have a sign on the drive-thru window they start paying for cashiers at Seventeen dollars an hour and yet if you pay with a credit card they ask you if you want the tip. I've been in the service industry on and off most of my life and it's not for people who make well above minimum wage but it seems every place is doing it now.
