When you think of a neighborhood place, this is it. It’s tucked away in the Rosedale community. Parking is sparse but once you overcome that, you walk into a Paris-like atmosphere. Quaint, quiet, small, bright, chic. I really love the vibe. The drinks were great. I got a coffee rum drink that was surprisingly clear (!!) and a vieux carre. They cost $18 each which is high. épicerie has the BEST croissant in Austin. It is not even close. It’s insanely flaky, buttery, and honestly tastes like something straight out of Paris. Every bite just melts. I could eat one every single weekend without getting tired of it.

Came here on a whim and noticed that they had a nearly $20 egg sandwich. I was worried this would be another example of an overpriced menu item, but I was wrong. This was the best egg sandwich I had in my life. The sandwich was made up of scrambled eggs, a flaky croissant, cheese and sausage patty. The textures and flavors were wonderfully balanced.
