I was so excited to take my mom and my sisters here bc I really liked their drinks, but I was so disheartened to see how my mom was treated by a worker. My mom was resting her foot on my chair. And this person (I believe AMAB, white), hopped over her foot. My poor mom apologized, and this person didn’t even turn to look at her. Who does that? He could’ve said excuse me?? Or gone around? There were many places to go through. Treated us we weren’t even people. I see someone else complained about them already, and they were also POC. We are Mexican American. We were at a loss for words. Too stunned to speak. I’m inclined to think this person is racist. I am so upset.

I was waiting in line with my friends with an outside drink. We were not going to dine in and I wasn’t going to order anything either way but they asked me to leave so I had to wait outside for them. That wasn’t a big deal. But then my friend gets her drink without a lid and asks for a lid. The barista looks at her and tells her “read the sign.” The sign said the wifi password and lids here. Then my friends overheard the barista telling the other barista “people don’t want to read the sign and find things for themselves.” It was a sharp contrast to a pleasant restaurant we went to before and a disappointing display of customer service.

They got a great vibe going on here, I think it's because they are near a stream that being here is so relaxing. I tried one of their summer drinks I cannot remember what it was but it was soothing. They got blackboards painted on the restroom to leave your own little message for the next person that walks in.

This is one of my fave spots in Austin. I usually get some latte, but I most recently got the Peach Matcha Latte which was very unique! There are generally a lot of people working on laptops. They have a bunch of vegan baked goods from Zucchini Kills.
