I like epoch coffee. It's a decent place to hang out. The coffee is a little pricey but the atmosphere is nice. The people who work there are great. They occasionally do shows and those are fun. It's open 24 hours too, which is cool, but I never understand the psychopaths who sit outside drinking coffee at midnight in 90 degree heat. At least that option is there for those who want it. This local spot is my favorite coffee shop in all of Austin. Nestled in the neighborhood and welcoming to everyone, I can got here 24/7 and find a spot to relax and enjoy a coffee. If you haven’t been here before please come on by and support this coffee shop, you won’t be disappointed.
Again, glad for any coffee shops in Austin and think there should be more. This location has a very hipster and nice vibe to it. However the coffee I had here was some of the sourest coffee I have ever tasted! It was vinegary sour and didn’t even feel like I was drinking coffee. Not sure if it was maybe just the batch/day that I went but I’ll try again and compare
