Love this spot for vegan snacks and drinks — definitely one of my favorites! The chai is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. I’m obsessed with the blueberry doughnut, the vegan empanadas and kolaches are always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything tastes like it was made with care. Highly recommend!

The pastries are made fresh and genuinely are amazing and are the best thing about this place.

Service is a bit slow but all staff is nice and friendly.

We asked which iced teas are pre made and ordered the black iced tea. It was lukewarm with no ice when we got it which was a little odd.

I have been going to FatCats for 3 years and it hits every time. The staff is kind and informative. It’s nice to have a midday conversation that has nothing to do with work, ha. I get a dirty chai latte most of the time. If you order it iced it’s premade (in house) if you order it hot it is made fresh on the spot (allow extra time for this). The tea selection is top tier and I constantly see what looks like pre-ordered goods going out regularly. The assortments of Empanadas and baked goods is vast and it’s all good, my personal favorite is the Taco Crumble. The little donuts are delicious as well. I love coming in and usually stop through at least 1-2 times weekly.

This place is a hidden gem! We were visiting Austin for the weekend, and before leaving, stopped for some pastries for the road and oh my goodness… the vegan empanadas were delicious! Both my husband and mother-in-law aren’t vegan but they loved the regular and chocolate croissants. If you love plant-based pastries, coffee AND cats 😻, then you should check this place out. The owner/manager was super nice and gave us a croissant cinnamon roll to try as well, and it’s probably the best dessert I ever had.

The owner harassed my child who ordered a chai, yelling that a mango pastry that she had purchased nextdoor wasn't likely vegan and that she was 'insulting' her customers (in an empty store) by having that item there. The audacity. Took 10 minutes to get her chai, so only go if you want to be targeted by ppl having a psychotic break instead of getting your order ready.

Nice little spot to stop in, and I love the cat theme! A little pricey but the coffee and food was delicious so not too upset about it. I definitely recommend the hazelnut latte and the bean, jalapeno, and cheese empanada. We chose take out because they had no music playing in the lobby but other than that atmosphere was very cozy. Will come back!

I love this place and all the food, I really do, but it’s SO HARD not to notice all the dirtiness on top of most surfaces and the bathrooms…. Makes me not want to eat or go there any more, it’s not really sanitary… How do you get away with not cleaning everything every day when you sell food? For the price of the food, I would expect a neat place.

I had a hazelnut latte and ginger donut. They were tasty, but wish the donut was a wee bit more gingery. Cute place and everything is vegan. So gotta love it.

This bakery is amazing! Getting a treat from here honestly makes my day and the prices are great

I’ve been going here for years and the owner and baristas here are locals who are genuinely amazing people with a big heart and a huge passion for baked items. Try the croissants and empanadas, and their fruit kolaches on the weekends are out of this world!!!

I absolutely love visiting Fat Cats Bakery! As a vegan, it’s always a treat to be able to select any delicious item on the menu that I fancy! I recently enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant and chocolate donut; both were exceptional. I have had their empanadas in the past which are also amazing. Whether you are vegan or not, this place will knock your socks off plus it’s women-owned so that’s a bonus!

Shelves were fairly empty upon opening, but the bagel and cream cheese were good. The strawberry cream cheese croissant was SO incredibly scrumptious, as was the almond one.

I LOVE THIS COFFEE SHOP, i wish they had longer hours! Their tea selection is amazing
