Add this place to your must stops. Great location, feral vibes, and unhinged music (aka best music)! This place is the place you want to drink yummy wines, hangout with friends/family, and enjoy life! I came to Austin to surprise a long distance friend for her birthday and we ended closing FHW down. Owners are very friendly and kind. Atmosphere is relaxed, classy with a splash of feralness. It hits the spot every time.
I’ve been here a few times for karaoke on Thursday nights and came in today to do the wine flight. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. Today, we got a white, rosé, cab, and a gewurztraminer. The grapes to make the wine come from the Texas High Plains so they taste a little different from our typical Central Texas wines. They didn't have food but the wine was good! Their cab was smokey but didn't taste smokey, nice finish. Dry white wine was good too. I did a small flight and tried a few! Also super fun 90's/2000's playlist that had me singing out loud 😁 owners were very nice and knowledgeable about their wine partnership! Love the name too. Great place for me and my girlfriends to catch up.
