Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
Every single time I have gone they forget to give me sour cream and the food is pretty good but the rice is often undercooked and there are small bones in the burrito when I order chicken burritos.
El Pollo Rico has great chicken but I wish they had a few more options and a bigger menu. They are also not open that late.
