For the quality of food, price is good. My Togo order was ready right when I was there but would definitely go back to hang out there. Really nice spot.

Came from the tuna melt but they were out. So I got the Brisket Brioche Banh mi instead, which was good. I gave it 4 stars because while the food and the service was great, there were a lot of flies hovering around our food and we were sitting in doors. If they could find a solution to that, it'll be great. Besides that, I'll be back (to try the tuna melt) and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a great sandwich spot.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. The Chimichurri sandwich is like one of the best I've had. It was a good price for delicious food. Ambience 10/10. Service great. Delicious!

Good sandwich shop! I ordered the chicken & eggplant sandwich with a side caesar salad, and both were great! The bread was toasted perfectly, and the eggplant and chicken were seasoned well. The sandwich of course always comes with a side of sweet pickles. The caesar salad dressing was very zesty and was particularly strong for my taste. I would not get the caesar dressing again. Their cookies are not great. Sandwiches are good. Probably would not recommend anything else. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but beware of bugs if you sit outside. Indoor seating is limited. You also may have to wait in line if you go during lunch time. There is only street parking out front, but there is a small parking lot one block down. However, it was full when I went. Prices are fair for portions and what you get. Menu has a lot of good options. Overall, I'd give it at 7.5/10. Recommend if you're looking for a light, quick meal!

OK sandwiches. Good service. The excessive amount of burned (not just charred) sauerkraut on a small protein portion surely diminishes taste and value and gear up the profit. Maybe cold cuts would be better choices without reliance on the cooks.

this place has seriously unique and delicious sandwiches. Great menu! Reasonable prices. Cute spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great. However-- the drink / chip selection wasn't my favorite.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my wife ordered the chicken and eggplant sandwich. She thoroughly enjoyed every bite of her sandwich and even shared it with some friends. She highly recommends it. My sandwich was good. I was happy with the ciabatta bread and the meat had a slight spice to it that was good. I did really enjoy the atmosphere both inside and outside. Be sure to check out their specials.

Sandwishes and salads here are what sandwishes and salads should be everywhere. A long time favorite of mine.

We stumbled across this spot and it was really impressive. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon but the food slapped. The sandwichs were huge, flavourful and diverse. Would highly recommend for all bread lovers. The pork belly blta is amazing and the egg salad is complex.

Foodheads is a cultural landmark of Austin that should be supported often and protected at all costs! As soon as you walk through its doors, it feels like a hug from a friend. I've also been eating here for more than 15 years and have never once been disappointed in the food (...and I'm a huge snob). Go there immediately!

the thing is is the price you know you walk in and see it thinking that it's going to be a good sandwich but then you actually see the size and think: hmm okay then- and THEN you take a bite and... disappointment. Its not even good just okay. ?

Like so many former great food establishments FoodHeads has slipped. Where the Roast beef and brie sandwich was all so delicious, now is slapped together with inferior meet quality. I found the same to be true with the egg salad and prosciutto sandwich, where the ham fell flat instead of with a robust salty edge. I will not be ordering again, it was that marginal for $50 for three sandwiches.
