Dropped by on a hot 100F afternoon to cool off and to enjoy some unique ice cream. I have been a customer of Amy’s for over 30 years and they do not disappoint. My tried and true is Mexican vanilla and strawberries mixed into a waffle cone. The combinations they have are up to your imagination. Love this place for sure.
Amy's is an Austin institution, the ice cream is really creamy, staff are always friendly and accommodating (and Amy takes good care of them). Also, there's always at least one dairy-free option, so nobody will feel left out.
