Frank

In what seems to now be a tradition, Frank was the first restaurant I visited on both of my trips to Austin, TX. Three years ago it was simply because it was so close to the hotel, I could see it from the room, last month though I sought out the delicious sausages intentionally because my stomach remembered how happy it was after eating there. This place was our final stop on our impromptu Austin food tour. As vacation time is an excuse to fall of the Keto wagon, I was going to use this weekend as an opportunity to shovel every simple carbohydrate I could physically fit within the confines of my gastrointestinal tract through my pie hole. Frank is a restaurant in downtown generally known for its barbecue specialities and hot dog. We ended up going to frank, the decor was nice from outside and inside but however, the floors were extremely sticky and gross. As if , it has never been cleaned at all. I waited there 15 mins to get helped and no one showed up at the desk. The customer service was pathetic and floors were ewww.. We ordered vegan hot dogs, they came up quickly and they were nice but if hygiene is a concern...read full review
