This is one of the best retro bar experiences you will find in Austin. They have great drinks, pool, shuffleboard and delicious bar food. Their fried pickles with jalapeño ranch are in the top 3 we've ever had. Be careful though, the breading is thick and retains oil so they are molten lava out of the fryer. Their chopped cheese and hot dogs are also great.
Accessibility is almost perfect y’all need to put accessible parking poles on the two spots in front of your door and paint a no parking zone in front of your door because the only accessible spot in your lot is taken by the store next door who is clearly terrible about parking with all the signs. Accessible seating and restroom, yes. Accessible parking lot, no.
Delicious food. Cold drinks. Chill vibe. Reminds of you of 1977 midwestern basement mancave with vintage lighting, signs, jukebox and pool tables. The outdoor patio area is small and inviting. Parking can be a bit tight on the weekends. Even from my first visit 3 years ago, everyone here has been exceptional and welcoming. A gem in east ATX for sure.
