Great food, but parking mishap and unhelpful corporate response cost us $100.My wife and I are huge fans of Freebirds, and we regularly visit for their delicious burritos. My personal favorite is the monster burrito with chicken and cauliflower rice, which sets them apart from competitors like Chipotle.However, our recent experience at the South Congress location was ruined by a frustrating parking situation and an unhelpful corporate response. After enjoying a great meal, we took a short walk down the street for ice cream (my wife being 8 months pregnant explains both cravings!). Upon returning, we found a boot on our car and a $100 ticket, leaving us quite confused. Frustratingly, there was no signage near our parking spot explaining that leaving the premises was so strictly forbidden. While the Freebirds manager was kind and pointed out a sign (albeit one not visible from where we parked), the general manager, Tony, couldn't solve the issue, or really help in any way.Our complaint to the corporate email, unfortunately, resulted in a generic email defending the property owner and essentially blaming us, the customer. This felt particularly disheartening considering Freebirds' stated value of "INTEGRITY - always doing the right thing!", which didn't seem to be upheld in this scenario.Despite the parking hassle and corporate disappointment, we still love the food and have visited other locations since. However, if you go to this South Congress location, be extra cautious about poorly signed parking regulations with draconian enforcement, lest your burrito to cost an extra $100.Parking: They booted our car and charged us $100

I placed an online pickup order for a bowl and a quesadilla. When I arrived back home, I noticed my quesadilla did not have any cheese in it whatsoever.. same with my bowl and was missing the Guac that I paid almost $3 extra for. I’m a die hard Freebirds fan but this was an extremely disappointing experience and won’t be back anytime soon.

Missing chips for my large queso I ordered. They offered me a small queso to make up for it… I declined because the trip isn’t worth it if I’m not getting what I paid for. Last time I visit this location. Had to repeat everything twice when making my burrito as well, not pleasant.

Food was just okay and dining room had crumbs and boxes scattered all over the place. Staff was very unkind. Went to pick up my order. No greeting or anything--fine not a big deal. Guy asked if I was waiting for a pickup. I said yes. He asked for the name. I told him. Then he looked at me with a suspicious glare and asked for my last name so I gave it to him. Does he think I just magically guessed the first name of the pick up order hoping to score a free meal? There was only one order ready for pickup for context.Someone needs to train them on customer service or find someone who will treat paying customers with respect.

False advertisement. Kids meal should be $5. They wanna charge me $8. Manager told me he would give me $5 as advertised on their menu. Then charges me $8. Unprofessional manager. So I did speak up twice and I was a Karen. Don't care. Not coming back here ?
