I've been to other Fresa's locations sevetal that are sit-down and was blown away by the food quality, service, and ambiance. This location, however, was meh - yet for the same (not cheap) price. Our Brussels sprouts appetizer was burnt, and the hotchata was watered down even without ice. It's located right next to busy Lamar and parking is difficult in that area, although it is a short walking distance from a park. I'll never eat at this location again, and would recommend only getting to-go orders here, but for the price and quality, I'd rather go somewhere else. One plus at all Fresa's locations - you can easily sub out roasted cauliflower or sweet potatoes for meat on any taco (making it vegetarian).

during our visit in Austin TX, we visited Fresa’s 9th and la mar location, and I can’t recommend it enough!. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. They really know how to keep things moving without sacrificing quality.

My friends and I had an incredible time! We are just incredible people, so that could’ve had nothing to do with the food. Big fans of the Mexican street corn, chicken flautas, and the wings. Outdoor seating vibes were scenic, friendly, and warm. Would recommend for a chill night with friends.

Overpriced. Always a crazy long wait. Items missing from order. Always solicited for a tip in order to subsidize the low worker pay. Fresa’s, how about you pay your employees yourself instead of expecting people to tip for COUNTER SERVICE AND A DRIVE THROUGH for god’s sake. This is probably why I never see cars in the drive-through anymore.

This place has no business being this good. We always order the achiote & citrus whole or half chicken and it is SO GOOD. The marinade, the grilled taste.
The half chicken comes with grilled onions, rice, beans, tortillas, and 2 salsas. It easily feeds 2 people for about $20. Great deal for the quality food you’re getting!
I don’t know why we don’t come here more. Drive through is super convenient. It’s a great price.

Dear Fresas Management… what happened? We order $50+ from here on a weekly basis and the food over the last 4 times has been well below what it used to be. 1. Our order is ALWAYS WRONG now with missing toppings on salads or the wrong toppings. 2. The Brussels sprouts are so burned you can’t even eat them. 3. The servings are much smaller especially the salad.
We tip and everything. Can someone please start inspecting the orders?

I come to this location multiple times a month and the quality is different each visit. Well this visit I knew something was suspicious when they handed me my food 2 mins after paying which never happens. Well now I know why….. my bowl was half empty. Like are you kidding me? They gave me less than one scoop of rice! I took out the kale and saw this. This is outrageous at the prices they are charging! There’s hardly any beans either. Serving this to a customer is embarrassing!

Fresa’s has the best tacos I’ve ever out my mouth and the spot in 9th & Lamar is snappy fast. Don’t let a line or crowd run you off. Staff is awesome and you HAVE to put their tacos in your mouth. This spot is only walk up and go, do dinning. Amazing work Fresa’s
I ordered a salad from here for the first time today. The salad was good but it was the most overpriced salad of my life! The salad was $18 after I added chicken and it came in a container that is smaller than the smallest salad at Salata. Chips & salsa added was $6. By the time I paid the delivery charge, this sad sad little lunch was $30. I don't think I'll ever order from here again.
