The food was awesome, best gluten-free bun I've ever had. It didn't fall apart at all. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were better than most.
Unfortunately, the person taking orders acted like it was a huge inconvenience to take our order. It wasn't busy. Our order had no modifications. It wasn't close to closing or opening time. Sorry to interrupt your socializing with the rest of the staff, I guess. Nevertheless, y'all got a 25% tip.

Very nice atmosphere and lighting. Nice food selection and a couple of good vegan options. Been twice and tried the bean burger and the vegan bowl. Very nice!!

My son and I go to Galaxy often when he comes to town, and we last ate there for brunch about two weeks ago. The staff is always happy and helpful, but OMG, I chose the Mediterranean eggs breakfast with ciabatta bread. It was the MOST delicious, healthy, and flavorful breakfast I’ve had in forever! It also comes with a side of fresh fruit. We were saddened to see it less full right after COVID, but it was hopping 2 weeks ago. Bravo 👏 Galaxy!!! I hope to keep coming for years to come, and I never had a meal that wasn’t delicious and served with a smile. Love you guys 🫶

The Chimichurri Steak was outstanding! The chairs are very uncomfortable though.

I choose this cafe over Chi lantro, which is right next door. I always go to Chi lantro and thought I would change it up today. So I went to Galaxy cafe, excited to try something new. Long story short, I ordered to go and when I got home, my meat was raw, bloody. $18.39 down the poop whole. I was very disappointed with this place and will probably never go back again. I will stick with Chi Lantro.

We stopped in for lunch at Galaxy Café, and the food was awesome. I had the Zócalo Burger and it was fire 🔥—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The sweet potato fries were also delicious 🤤, perfectly crisp and full of flavor. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone craving bowls or burgers because the food really hits the mark.
That being said, I did notice some issues with the service. When we were ordering, there were two young employees (a boy and a girl) talking to each other instead of paying full attention to us. It came across as a little rude, and honestly, it felt like they could have waited until after taking our order to chat. Meanwhile, I noticed another girl working hard—cleaning tables, picking up trash, and staying busy—while the other two just stood around talking.
I always give tips, but at Galaxy Café you order at the counter, get your own drinks, and then they bring the food. After seeing how the work was divided, I regretted tipping at the register because the person who really deserved it was the one hustling to keep the place clean. It’s a bigger workplace issue in general: too often the hardest workers don’t get recognized, while others just skate by. That can lead to high turnover and unhappy customers.
One last note—the water and sodas had a bit of a funny aftertaste. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. Also, no pets are allowed here. Just a note to pet owners.
Overall, I give Galaxy Café 4 stars. The food is excellent and I absolutely recommend it, but I think management could improve by delegating duties better and making sure customer service is prioritized. With a few adjustments, this would easily be a solid 5-star spot.

I go here weekly and if I could, I’d eat here even more often! The food is always amazing. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. My family looks forward to coming every time, and it’s become one of our favorite places to eat together. Consistently delicious and worth every visit!

It had been a while since I ordered from Galaxy cafe.
I placed a pick up order for pick up the AM of 8/23/25. There were multiple hairs in our meals, it was really gross. The hairs were on top of the sweet potato fries and also avocado toast. And then when someone tried to salvage one of the orders of fries there as a long hair in the middle. My meal was not fully cooked. I attempted to upload photos of our food with the multiple hair strands to this review but received a google error. I called Galaxy on 8/24 regarding my order, and was told I would receive a refund but it has not been issued by the merchant at this time.

The inside was a little darker than I’d like not the warmest vibe but the food is so good it doesn’t even matter. I usually get takeout, but this was my first time eating in, and my go to dish never disappoints the Grilled Skirt Steak with Chimichurri Sauce (I get it with rice and salad). That sauce is insanely good I could drink it! 😆 My husband got the Galaxy Steak Sandwich with chips and queso, and he loved it too.
We’ll definitely keep coming back for the food!
