Best drinks and eats, great vibey spot for a date!We had the Yellowline and Blue Ruin cocktails - martini style, and they were so delicious. Next we had crispy calamari and peppers - amazing. For mains we had pasta dishes. And they're pasta is made in house and it shows! Best pasta I've had in Austin. If you're looking for something new to try on the east side, look no further (:

Kinda hard to rate. This place is definitely a good drinking spot but I wouldn't make the trip for the food. It's a little more upstate than Gotham. Big parking lot is a huge bonus. I'd recommend this place for beers and snacks.

Not a fan of the food.Ordered the Country Pate, Ludlow Pizza, and my date ordered a salad. Thought the pate lacked any real flavor and the pizza was undercooked. Date was not into the meal either. Not a place I would go back to or really recommend to anyone given the number of amazing places to dine at in Austin.

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. A hidden gem on the Eastside. I absolutely love the steak and eggs for brunch. Perfectly cooked. Jered our waiter had great stories and lots of personality.

Great restaurant! Went with a party of 10 and took about 40 minutes to get all the food. There wasn't a single complaint from anyone and all the meals were correct. I personally ordered the Gotham Burger and it was delicious! The fries are great too, salted perfectly. Have to say this place is great and deserves more attention. 5/5

I was here on a Tuesday afternoon before 5 & tho the menu was limited, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Excellent service, even allowing me a clam chowder due to the weather tho it was not generally available before 5. The wines on special we’re impeccable— I cannot stress enough how lovely there wine choice is. And the clam chowder required a second order. I enjoyed the pate with its lovely additions of homemade pickle relish & side sauce. I was not keen on the salmon spread - it had an aftertaste I did not enjoy. But The music playing was a lovely mellow collection of instrumental jazz blues & the space is comfortable & would’ve been romantic if I wasn’t dining solo. The service - impeccable. I’ll definitely come back at full menu time - after 5:30 pm but I’ll also return for the happy hour time. It was an excellent culinary experience.

Always a great meal here. It really makes everywhere else look overpriced and overrated. The service is consistently excellent, thanks Jared! The food always delicious. And Wednesdays it's half price bottles of wine! What's not to love?!

I thought I would be late for happy hour when I showed up at 5 o’clock but the place was empty and I had a seat at the bar. Happy hour specials are kind of limited but I ordered the macaroni and cheese and a beer. I also ordered the mussels which I really wanted to try but we’re not on the happy hour. Back in California not many restaurants offer mussels as out here.

Great, somewhat unique, food. The fried chicken was really good, as well as the pork chop. The only thing difficult about this place is finding the correct door to come in with.

My wife, kids and I had a FANTASTIC experience here! We all had pasta dishes that were flawless through-and-through! For desert we shared the cheesecake. AMAZING!!! Strongly recommend! Embyonce isnt as nice as the food, but if you go expecting exceptional food with a casual vibe, you will note be disappointed.

I've only been here once but need to go back. Not a lot of sit down options on the East Side, mostly just food trucks. Gotham does it right with a full bar and a limited menu where nothing was over $20. I had the mussels and my friend had the steak and both were good. Not the fanciest of dining options, but a step above my usual street food and for a very reasonable price.

Yes, you should go. The fresh pasta was on point. Loved the vibe but wondering why more people were not there. Good for us! We got a table for 6 when we wanted. The cheese board was excellent quality but could have been a little more robust. The homemade pastrami was amazing! So to sum up, thumbs up!

I love Cafe Malta, so I was really excited to try Gotham. The menu was the right size with a great variety. My only criticism is that they had one (very attentive) server working the whole floor: greeting, seating, serving, etc. , so the service was a little slow. Other than that, no complaints. Can't wait to go back!
