This is my favorite taco spot in town! But I went there the other day around 9PM and they were closing up shop. Turns out they’ve been closing earlier and that sucks! Sometimes I get off late and want some dinner and it’s really disappointing to see this spot not capitalize on the late night crowd. They used to be open way late, I wish they’d bring that back! I’d spend more money that way.
I heard so many great things on Instagram about Oye Taquito 956 and since we were in Austin, we had to check it out. It did not disappoint. Accidently had this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My husband and I placed one order for the mini street tacos and a piña agua fresca (for me) and 4 flautas (for him). Devoured it! My husband is from the valley (Harlingen) and he told me these tacos are exactly what he had in the valley and really reminded him of home. It was absolutely delicious! Prob the best street tacos I've ever had. If you haven't tried this place, I high recommend it. We ordered online and picked it up to eat at home. ?
