Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is what I will dream about for the rest of my life. I'm not being funny when I tell you, emphatically, that Gus' fried chicken is the hands-down BEST friend chicken, mac and cheese and collard greens that I've ever had the joy of eating. The chicken is moist and spicy on the inside, and is perfectly crispy and thin on the outside. I could devour the creamy mac and cheese by the poundful. The Greens were perfect - perfectly cooked...
Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is hands down the best chicken spot in Austin.
The 4-piece chicken tenders were beyond incredible extra juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The seasoned fries were crisp, the fried okra and fried pickles were spot on, and the sweet tea was perfect.
From the food to the atmosphere to the friendly staff, everything here is amazing.

I really enjoy the chicken and sides at Gus's. Big juicy pieces, seasoned well with a little spice added but not too much. If you like fried chicken definitely try it. Absolutely some of the best service around.
