When I realized I bit into cheap ground beef instead of chicken shawarma that I payed for I called up there to tell him he messed up my order he said he didn’t mess up my order he just gave me beef instead of chicken because he was out of chicken anyways that has to be illegal in the food industry world to not tell me that you’re out of stock of something and just giving me whatever to take my money anyways? That’s insane, Anyways they give you scrambled packaged turkey/ground chicken meat from HEB and packaged lamb slice from Costco this is not real Shawarma they don’t even own a Shawarma skew or Shawarma rotisserie they just give you old packaged meat over old rice with wayy too much cinnamon added! I can literally sue for the way he disregarded my health and my allergies like that all to make a quick buck! Don’t go here it’s empty for a reason! Also he never refunded me, never coming here again,Very disappointing smh.

Food trucks have been stepping up since the old gut truck days. Located in the corner of a gas station and open for supper and that late night crave. This one delivers great food for a decent price. Conveniently comes in a to go box and easily enough for 2 or just to have leftovers.
First-time visitor. I had the Mix Sharmawa palate, it was delicious and the prices were decent, the atmosphere was nice outdoors was nice. Other than the mosquitoes, they are really bad this summer.

On DoorDash, around 5:45pm I placed order for a $10.99 chicken wrap and $12.99 chicken shawarma plate with $7 dasher tip. Total with fee is $34.65. The DoorDash sent email on arrival time 6:15-6:30pm. Around 6:10pm the app stated the arrival time will be at least one hour later 7:30-7:45pm. I called Halal Austin. The guy claimed they had a fire and won’t be able to prep for timely delivery promised by DoorDash and suggested me to cancel as I need to head to airport around 7:30pm. When I canceled the order on the DoorDash app, I got a refund of $8.69. I called the Halal Austin again, the guy claimed he had nothing to do with this. What a frigging scam. Stay away from this place. Thorough lack of professionalism.
