UPDATE: Against my better judgment, I went back because someone in our group says they talked to the manager. Just got my credit card statement. They put bills on my CC that were not mine. I had one drink, they charged me for three. Sloppy, and shady.

so I've been here a couple of times and atmosphere is great, the bruise a little pricey considering they don't even give you a pint but whatever you gotta pay the bills. The food is disgusting. The menu says burgers are seven dollars. Yeah check what you're paying, they're $12 - almost double the price shown on the menu And they're just a McDonald's style pressed Patty. $12! I went there twice this week and stuck with the fries. Earlier this week they were decent today they were harder than a jawbreaker. I was like now I'm not gonna say anything because the beer girls already had an attitude but my friends were like come on just tell them so they know. I would want to know if I was a business not to serve the bottom of the fryer been cooked a few time fries so I went to the counter and said hey these are super hard and can't be eaten. answer: "They are fries they're supposed to be like that" No they're not and I picked one up and pounded it on the counter so she could see they are so hard they don't even break when you found them on the counter. Answer: "yeah, That's called crispy and now I'm going to clean this up This mess you rudely made by pounding on the counter To show me how hard they are like they're supposed to be" now mind you, I started this with a I'm not asking for my money back or new fries or anything just letting you know these are really hard..... when someone's not asking for their money back and they're not asking for a different plate of fries so you don't even have to do extra work you can even just pretend you give a rat, just pretend rather than give attitudez

Sorry but you gotta go on the night where the guys are working which is like Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays - NOT when it's the girl crew and they have this pretentious you're lucky we let you have this crappy food attitude. Seriously it's so hard it doesn't break when I hit it on the counter and you're gonna get an attitude and tell me that that's what fries are - crispy? yeah my group won't be back. And of course will let everyone know don't go there, there's so many other options

You should probably update your menu also because it's actually illegal to advertise your food at a different price than what you charge people. Or perhaps your McDonald's burgers actually are seven dollars but your that's what crispy fries are like dingdong working the chill decides on her own to overcharge by six dollars.

Go on a Monday Tuesday or Friday – at all cost avoid the anot, you're beneath me because I work here crew on Wednesday and Thursday.

then just get the beer in the small glass as it is good. Just make sure to eat in advance.. bottom line you shouldn't need dental floss after you've had french fries that are now wedging your teeth. But do not tell them that they gonna let you know you dumb for thinking fries aren't supposed to be crispy, a.k.a. rock hard. by the way, it's Thursday which means Thursday night football. With all their TVs Inside and out, you'd have a little more business. Turns out there's a patio bar two blocks away that has the game on the TVs, legit prices on the menu, and staff that doesn't think they are an exclusive club and you ain't in it

My wife brought me here claiming they had the best chocolate chip cookie she ever tasted. So I came, and now I’d like to add that they have the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever tasted. And we are not spring 🐓

Holdout brewing was a pretty cool place, with a big outdoor area they share with Better Half. The food at holdout brewing was actually pretty good. We hit the Sunday brunch and enjoyed it. The highlight was the Japanese pancake and fried chicken. Excellent! The hamburger and salad were both really good as well. As always, we love grabbing queso, although this queso was pretty thick. I liked the selection of some local beers and they do have some wine options although they’re not that great. The place is nice with some indoor seating, although everybody seems to gather outdoors. They have some TVs up for watching the games or other. Where holdout doesn’t come through is in their service time. The waits are so long before bringing out out order. It just took too long and then they forgot one of our orders and I had to wait 15 minutes longer for my burger. Overall, I give this place a thumbs up for ambience and food, but the wait is too long.

Cool vibe, feels like where the locals hang out. The food is good. We had Cotija and garlic wings as well as Thai PB&J wings very unique. We also shared a pretzel highly recommend the beers were good upstairs with sterile atmosphere downstairs and the beer garden was super cool the service lacked personality.

Was sitting in the local next door when this was closed. They were still playing music so loud at 8am that it made more difficult to enjoy breakfast.

The place was happening, it was Saturday night, but plenty of parking (a wonderful surprise in austin!) And quiet tables away from the TV screens to enjoy yummy food and beers.
