The chicken fried steak is a must, as is the corn bread and greens. I love this place and get my fill every time I go. It is a great place to take my out of town guests from the south, who swear the food is as good, if not better, than their mom's or wife's. They are holding me to my solemn oath I won't tell their women folk how they feel about the food here.
Delicious comfort food, so many favorites; the jerk & bbq & fried chicken, catfish, chicken & dumplings, chicken fried steak. Lots of daily specials and veggie choices. The sides are wonderful and plentiful - best collard greens in town, great little corn bread in its own tiny cast iron pan, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes with the skins, Caribbean rice, black eyed peas, and many more.
