A cozy, warmly decorated coffee shop with a welcoming vibe. It was bustling with people, and lots of folks were working remotely, which gave the space a relaxed, productive energy. The coffee was rich, aromatic, and full of flavor. A great place to settle in for a while with a good cup.

Delicious coffee and really kind baristas especially Dean! He was so nice to me after I spilled my entire latte. Great spot!!!
I’ve been a long time customer of this space. No matter the time of day, whether there’s a line or rush, the service is top-tier. Luci and JJ truly make me feel like a regular! They remember things we’ve talked about, ask what I’ve been up to, and go the extra mile. And the coffee is pretty great too!

Fun spot. Can be a bit difficult to find a seat as this is clearly a go-to spot for remote workers.

The place is on the G floor of a hotel, the whole space is super aestheric and surrounded by cool people. Its like an oasis, once you entered it is super chillax. It is well designed and curated. I would come back.

Beautiful coffee shop attached to a hotel. The coffee shop serves Greater Foods and the drip is good. As a coffee shop with a hotel the clientele is all laptop warriors so you will get into a zone. I want to additionally call out the salted bagel which is crisp and tangy and a bit cheesy. The lox-and-bagel is $14 as a result and is the right price for the great quality. The lox is large and moist and goes well with the salt of the bagel and the light seasoning on the onion. The salad is the same gem lettuce salad in the restaurant that I love.
So this is yes a review of the coffee and of the vibe but really of that lox-and-bagel.

Cute as hell
It feels very Austin in here. The seats inside are usually full when I seem to go, but always plenty of options outside.
Plenty of easy access gender neutral bathrooms, never a line.
Paid street parking is only downside, but I feel that’s expected for this location.

Carpernter Hotel Coffee Shop is my #1 go to spot to chill and work. The staff is always cool, cordial but pros nonetheless. The food is A1 and the coffee is some of ATX's best not to mention the mouth watering pastery selection, go ask your momma! Situated right in the heart and soul of Austin, South Side down baby!

Food and drinks were good, but $1.50 extra for oat milk is just not ok. That’s a reason not to come back unfortunately.
The coffee is great but the wait is a bit long
