We tried Hotpot Alley for lunch this afternoon and it was absolutely awesome. It was our first time trying hot pot so we didn't really understand how it worked. The staff was super friendly and helped up threw the process. We will definitely be back again!

Good quality and variety of food. Small dining space but does have a bar to make your own sauces, which makes it fun. It is an a la carte type hot pot. Makes for an exciting gather your own ingredient experience. It's a nice place to sit with good company.Vegetarian options: On the menu is does say that certain items are strictly not vegetarian and for the soup bases it says what is in them.Kid-friendliness: They do have high chairs and low seats. Plus chicken bites for picky eaters.

Nut allergy friendly, I wrote a request on my order.Review is for to-go via Uber Eats. I ordered two of the Spicy Beef Claypot Rice and there was a promotion for their new menu item to do buy one get one free. Note the price is much more expensive on the ($18 vs $12-13) so it's not much of a discount.I picked up as soon as notified and the food was still piping hot when I got home. The food was okay. I give the dish maybe a 3/5. The portions were excellent (got full) but overall there was a lot of rice and not much meat or vegetables. There were only 3-4 pieces each of Chinese sausage, beef, and broccoli and the one poached egg. I would have appreciated it if the rice was a little crispier as a result of the clay pot heating, which it surprisingly wasn't.However, the presentation was excellent. We were given clay pots to go (pretty unique!) and the value for two was really good. Overall, for the to-go value of my order, I'd come back and try it again.

This is our first visit and we are given a basket to shop the raw food then pay at the counter with choice of soup base. Overall experience is good although the raw material selection is limited. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

Frequented this place a year or so ago so this is a late review. The broth had changed to something flavorless and watery. It wasn't as good as it use to be; I'd otherwise have given this place 5 stars for good broth. A bit expensive for what they

The soup was good and their Tom yum was a creamy version with coconut milk but still very good. The grocery shop idea is so cute and fun but you do have to get up each time if you want to order more.It may be useful to also offer a QR code version for people to order from the table instead.

It is a pay at the counter type of place, food selection could’ve be a bit bigger but by all means they have a pretty big selection of stuff.

You grab a grocery basket and pick out items like you're at a market. You check out, get seated, and then the pot of broth comes out. Nice sauce bar with many sauces. All ingredients seemed fresh and were very good. Tom yum broth was flavorful but a bit salty.
