Place was good, but I thought it was a little pricey. Definitely not $10-$20 a person more like $20 to $30. Plus, they had no happy hour menu. One beer is $7 and their regular margarita was $16.

Prices don't match the quality of the food.

They are short staffed, one guy servicing the entire restaurant. And I'm more than sure there was only one cook.

I saw a couple leaving shortly after arriving because of the service, we would have done the same but half everyone's food did arrive so we had to stay.

I got the chicken flautas. Basic. I was pretty much eating tortilla chips with chicken that was NOT shredded.. not seasoned at all [no salt], and it was like they pulled off chicken pieces from a thigh and put them onto the corn tortilla, super fried it to where each bite it fell apart completely.
I was very disappointed. Edible but not tasty at all.

My son did not even like his chicken tenders. I usually take home leftovers but not this place.

Greetings! The name says it all. The taste of cumin in the rice was beyond great.🤘 The beef enchiladas was good with a nice kick! 🤩Also had the quesadilla with chicken, that alone was enough to fill me up!🤩 What actully made the food taste even better was the time the owner took to converstate over many food choices!💯 Cantaloupe fresca was good too.👊 I'm close by, and I found my new go to. 🤙I'll dine in next time.

what a little gem! We stopped in for dinner on a whim and I’m so glad we did. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was delicious and the music playing was wonderful. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu!

We had good service and the food has a more authentic taste and presentation than Tex Mex. We were one of only 3 tables dining in. Enjoyed the quesadilla plate and gorditas. Salsa was very good. Would go back if in the area. Not the biggest portions ever, but quite enough for us.

The food is grate and is authentic Mexican Food. Come try it. Had the Green enchiladas with fresh made tortillas. The guayaba agua fresca was delicious!

Got the chicken enchilada plate as takeout and everything was delicious. The green salsa was slightly on the salty side, but it still suited my tastebuds and I appreciated the abundance of seasoning! I also liked that the chicken inside the enchiladas was seasoned-so many restaurants just use plain shredded chicken so it was a nice surprise. However, I added sour cream and avocado to my plate ($2 extra in total), and received the absolute tiniest blob of sour cream (maybe half a tablespoon) and the smallest sliver of avocado imaginable. I’m used to generous portions in Tex Mex so this left a bad taste in my mouth, but won’t stop me from coming back. I’ll just pick up an avocado at HEB instead of ordering it on the side :)

The Tres leche that we took home was spoiled milk.It was nasty. The food took 50 minutes after we ordered and ther was only one other person in the restaurant the entire time. I will not go back. Enchiladas we ok, the green sauce had too much tang and not enough flavor.

My family and I had an amazing experience at Huahuasco! The Azteca quesadilla and pastor torta were both incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The watermelon margarita was not only delicious but also refreshing—perfect for a warm day. The service was top-notch; the staff was attentive, and the owner made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly attitude. Highly recommend Huahuasco for authentic and delicious Mexican food!

Best mexican spot in Pflugerville!

Really great food and location. The tacos were just the right temperature and they tasted amazing. They also had very friendly staff there.

Been here half a dozen times. Everything’s been great. Highly recommend the Quezadilla Azteca. I get it with veggies and spouse with beef, just excellent. Their Pflugarita is also spectacular. Best corn tortillas I think I’ve ever had.

Vegetarian options: Some items are clearly vegetarian but even those which are not the staff is very accommodating.

Finally some authentic Mexican food around Austin!! We stopped here on a Friday night and was not crowded a lot . They had enough parking . We didn’t order alcoholic drinks and ordered the mango pineapple juice which was so refreshing ! The guacamole was freshly made and tasted good and chips were not store bought ones which was pleasing . Ordered the bistek a la Mexicana tacos and the spicy verde chicken which were great . Tortillas looked handmade and the rice and beans was of great quality . The only thing we didn’t like that much was the fish tostada and it had the really raw smell of fish . But they have so many authentic options and would definitely come back !
