I used to live in in Texas back in the day and used to eat Mexican food all the time. I moved to Guatemala 15 years ago and since then I had not found a truly amazing place. THIS FOOD IS SUPERV! Hands down the best in Pflugerville.

Huahuasco Mexican Grill is one of those rare local spots that feels family-owned and operated in the best way. The service is always friendly, and the food stands out from typical Tex-Mex, leaning more interior South Mexican. The flavors are fresh and unique. Everything we’ve had has been very good, but the Quesadilla Azteca is absolutely amazing and worth going out of your way for. Definitely recommend if you want something authentic and different from the typical Tex-Mex.

We went to this place for Cinco de Mayo. We sat there for two hours eating before the waiter decided to tell us that he forgot our food was at the window and now it was “cold and stale”. This entire time they were bringing stuff out of order, turning people away, and the drinks were terrible. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.

My husband and I decided to try a new place for breakfast. When we arrived we soon realized we had gone there before. The first visit was a horrible experience. We were hungry so we decided to stay this time and give them a try. Once again we were the only customers in the restaurant. The decor was Spanish theme and pics of items on the me u were being displayed while another TV displayed something else. We order our food we had Agua frecas. He got watermelon and I the pineapple. They were alright, we've had better. This place just started serving breakfast options. They are usually a lunch and dinner only. So we got a couple tacos each. It was homemade tortillas. They were a lil thin only because when we picked them up to take a bite they were translucent. There wasn't very much flavor and we wouldn't be going back. He brought us two types of hot sauce to try. A green and a red the green was the best out of the two but could of used something else. Needless to say we would not be going back. It was about $35 for two drinks and two tacos each not including tip. We both were still hungry not to long after. So yeah we could've gotten more full for that price somewhere else.

Delicious Mexican food, my favorite restaurant in Pflugerville. Best mole I've had in a while, my favorite place to go for queso. Their drinks are also delicious.

I don’t know how more people aren’t talking about this place!!! This is one of the best restaurants in Pflugerville. I go to the library all the time and never knew this place was here, but decided to pop in for dinner one day and everything we got was absolutely incredible. I’ve been three times since my initial visit and everyone in my party is blow away each time. The attention to detail in the food, even down to the chips and salsa, is incredible. If they sold this salsa by the jar, I would buy it. The taco are some of the best I have ever had and the drink specials/happy hour is unmatched. The service is incredibly fast and the employees are super nice and attentive! I highly recommend trying this place out.
